Forgot one major issue that's common on them. The front lower ball joints. You do not ignore ball joint noises in a 7g Accord or you'll be going kachow soon. They're great cars tho, double wishbone front and back and can use a lot of TL and TSX parts including their engines.

this is a great video! i think more creators need to address this great budget platform, so thank you for being one of the first!
as a CM5 owner myself, here are my thoughts and comments:
    zenki- 2003-2005
    kouki- 2006-2007
CM4- i think this might have been reserved for the australian/thai/malaysian-spec 2.2L 4cyl (not a K-series) sedans, although i could be wrong.
    CM5- 4cyl sedan
    CM6- v6 sedan
    CM7- 4cyl coupe
    CM8- v6 coupe
    zenki/kouki/facelift doesn't change these codes.
the K that comes in the CM5/CM7 is a watered-down K, in all honesty. it's got the economy i-VTEC setup, and its designation is the K24a4. if you want the absolute best performance, look for something like a DC5 RSX with a K20, because these Ks are not meant for performance.
the zenki v6 hybrid made 255hp and the kouki made 271hp. the zenki 4cyl made 160hp and the kouki made 155, ouch...
both the sedan and the coupe models are desirable in their own right. the sedan is highly praised for its simple presence and VIP-esque feel. the coupes are highly praised for their spaceship-like appearance, with its more rounded lines.
the only usable cupholders are the ones in the center console. the ones in the doorcards are great for if you want to forget the bottle of god-knows-what you left in there.
the j-series v6 is highly regarded to be one of the best sounding commuter-car v6s ever produced, especially the J30, although it takes a LOT of work to make a 4cyl sound good.
okay, i prefer the zenki sedan tails over the triangle style tails, but that's just me. maybe i'm biased because i own one lol.
fact: the zenki sedan rear end is more desirable (i would argue) because the jdm variant of the 7g accord sedan over in japan was the honda inspire, and its tail lights are very sought-after in the CM-chassis community for its extremely clean two-tone red/clear design.
the v6 hybrid is basically a FWD 350z, so do what you want with that info.
the CM-chassis gets SO much praise for its seats, and i can't say that i disagree. i LOVE my stock seats because of their comfortability and fit, even though i'm a 38 waist and i have the black cloth option. so, if you want comfy seats, these cars are the way to go.
yes, the paint fade is BAD. my car is silver, and there is a noticeable difference between the color on my quarter panels and the color on my rear bumper. it's NH623M satin silver metallic, and if you want a wrap to match the color almost perfectly, 3M's gloss white aluminum is a near-perfect match.
yes, the autos from this time suck, but i've had no problems with mine personally.
again, GREAT VIDEO! thank you for talking about these severely under talked-about cars.

At the quarter-mile track once and it has a really good reaction time when most cars are doing a 14.2 you’re doing a 14.9 and you still beat them at the end weird huh 😆 it’s all about reaction time.

Honda did preety darn sic for 7th gen era, they release so many different types. They also like did experiment on something, bcs at these period Honda release Legend and Euro R that somehow related one to eachother; it also oodly possesed Accura with their TSX. Same kinda look like interior, same engine, idk man. But my CM5, how ugly it is but somehow I loved it anway.

I got my ex 7th gen accord v6 automatic sedan recently for my first car and even tho it has 233k on the mileage the car works fine i did have to do alot of repairs on it tho because the air intake hose broke and the antifreeze needed to be flushed and the battery died also the ceiling bulbs needed to be replaced and the hood struts stopped working also the air intake filter needed to be replaced and the ac filter but now all thats left to do is replace the sparkplug tube seals and the ac system

So let me say this my track car weekend car is a built 95 Honda Civic coupe but my daily driver is a 2004 Honda Accord V6 coupe with the full hfp package I'm surprised you didn't mention that in your video hfp is the Honda factory performance kit that comes on a chords and a few other Hondas and it completely changes the look of the 7th generation accords it's a front lip rear lip side skirts spoiler mine even came with different Wheels mine has all those options is an EX V6 with the leather interior heated seats etc got it from my uncle who is the original owner bought it brand new in 2004 it only has 60,000 original miles on it I just got done going through everything at my shop to refreshing it gaskets hoses belt seals brakes tires suspension clutch flywheel injectors fuel pump I do not like the way these accords look when you see the coupe or sedan when they are just plain but when you see them with the hfp kit look that up on Google or wherever and you will see how much different and how much better and more aggressive the coupes look would that front lip rear lip and side skirts that they come with from the factory and spoiler and wheels I wouldn't even drive this car if it didn't have those things but for a daily driver having the V6 with the leather heated seats power steering AC cruise control it's a really nice cruiser and with those Honda factory performance parts it looks aggressive even for an accord it's just my daily so I'm not going to go too crazy on it but I've already done cold air intake full exhaust and basically what's considered a header for these V6 motors a J pipe and precat deletes went with the newer Honda Accord 3.5 intake manifold and throttle body and those couple mods seriously woke this engine up I piss off a lot of older v8s race quite a few newer Honda accords with 3.5 or Acuras with the 3.7 or 3.2 l engines eventually when this motor goes I will put the newer 3.5 or 3.7 in it but for a daily driver and just those simple bolt-ons and those appearance mods that it comes with from the factory it stands out so much compared to every other record of this generation you see on the road I see them quite often in the sedan or even sometimes in the coup but barely any of them have the Honda factory performance kit options on them I know in the video you said you do not like these but I highly suggest looking up the 7th generation Honda Accord coupes on Google images and look at the ones that have the hfp kit and tell me if you think they look a hell of a lot better and would consider driving one if it had those options like mine again my other car is my race car this is just my daily but it's fun having a comfortable cruiser that also if you want to get on it can seriously piss some unsuspecting victims off also the headlights are known to oxidize but I highly suggest just getting some black housing headlights that's what I did and with the white paint job and black window visors and tinted windows the black housing headlights really change the look and make it look more updated

2:40 - I've got a stock 7th gen v6 hybrid. the v6 completely negates any sort of hybrid eco benefits although it does have an electric motor assist and regenerative braking. it also has the same bodystyle as the 4th gen honda inspire and, despite being made for NA, was manufactured in sayama, japan rather than ohio or whatever.
