    As someone who is currently dealing with a underground leak on a 20+ year old pool, I feel bad for you if you ever have any. That amount of pipes looks excessive, and most run directly beneath the pool making them probably unrepairable.

    • @weskarcher483
      @weskarcher483 Před 2 lety

      Most pool decks are made with pavers so you can access the pipes in an event of a leak. If you have concrete then you need to use concrete saw to cut out the section where you suspect a leak. It's probably a leak on the return side, just cut out the old pvc reinstall up to a good portion of the pipe and connect with a slider repair sleeve. If it's a line somewhere under the pool, just isolate that line near the pump. If you have enough returns you should be ok to keep that one closed off.

    Although PVC is a thermoplastic and can be heated without significant chemical change or degradation - that really only applies to a laboratory. When in an “uncontrolled” setting like this backyard, there really is no way to know if the pvc was heated too much, kinked too much, etc. -which also puts the pressure rating at “???” - I can only wonder what the true pressure rating, life expectancy, and structural integrity is after it’s been heated. It’s cool to watch but I’ve got questions 😆

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  Před měsícem

      Pipes where pressure tested after install before they poured the shotcrete. It passed with no leaks. As far as durability and life expectancy it should hold for 10 to 15 years. But most pool builders will tell you all pools leak somewhere but you'll never know it if its a slow leak. Thanks for watching and by the way we still love our pool! You must leave in an area where your next door neighbor is a mile away!😅 pool equipment location needs to be 5 feet setback from property Line. Yours is an area where at most you have 4 feet and you are within those four Feet. Did you build this with Permits? Just wondering your lucky if your city is more flexible with building codes.
