- Peerless in the realm of haute horlogerie, the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo collection is the only collection to hold eight world records of ultra thinness. When the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ultra debuted earlier this year, it set a new record as the new thinnest watch on the planet. The Ultra comprises a staggering eight patents, because every aspect of how to build a mechanical watch had to be rethought, in order to attain its ultra thinness of 1.8mm.
Revolution Founder Wei Koh will be leading and moderating a series of Horological Symposiums, with a different topic on every day of Geneva Watch Days 2022. On August 31st, the symposium zoomed in on this unparalleled horological collection that has been setting and breaking consecutive records. The official subject of discussion: ‘Bvlgari Octo Finissimo, The New Icon’.

Octo Finissimo is a very amazing line. Looks architectural and wears perfectly comfortable.
What I need is a version with date.
This is a slippery slope with this watch as the cleanness is the entirety of the watch. And so many enthusiasts feel that the date window disrupts the flow. They would have the make it the most seamless date integration
@@damnsenwatch3146 I agree. They probably have to redesign the dial to make the date window fit seamlessly wit the watch, or perhaps a date index with a hand?
@@seaweed719 I think the index hand idea would be clean, could do something similar with a power reserve
I’m waiting on a titanium one with 100m WR and lume. Date would be nice too.
Couldn't agree more. When I couldn't get another RO, I finally pulled the trigger on the OF steel which has been my favorite watch. I can't wait to see where this line goes.
honestly you prefer the OF over a RO jumbo?
@@timeisahumanconstruct9251 I think I phrased it wrong. It’s my favorite watch in my current collection. Yes I prefer the RO but well as time has shown it’s not an easy watch to get.
@@Khanh.Nguyen369 Gotcha. I badly want a 5402, but I can get the rose gold Octo for half the price. I am so tempted.
Amazing session, thank you for ths!
Brilliant discussion with amazing people!
All-star panel! 🙏🏽
I wish the octo finissimo was slightly smaller in diameter. It needs a large wrist size to wear it well.
37 or 38mm would be perfect
Love these watches my dream collection is one of these watches then an all gold alpine eagle and an ap royal oak
1. Too many variations, too quickly.
2. Sub second dial is jerky
3. Uncomfortable on the wrist for many people
