- Five tools I wish I had bought sooner! Some of these tools were not around when I started but, if I had to start again today. These would be at the top of my list to get. Tools make life easier, make you money and save you time. If you find yourself having to rent a tool more than three times, you should look into buying that tool. You have enough demand to purchase that tool.
When it comes down to it, get or use whatever tool gets the job at hand done. Period. Make your customer happy and move on to the next job.

Oscillating tool is the most underrated tool ever in my opinion. That thing does all the detailed and tight areas work simpler. Just absolutely love that tool.
Oscillating tool is definitely worth its weight in gold, i think the only saw Id pick over it if i could only have one would be a circ saw
Beautiful

Never had an impact wrench, only an impact driver. It can get lug nuts off my car with a socket adapter. Why do you need a high torque impact to do that if a driver will do it? I was thinking of maybe getting a stubby impact or low/mid torque if it'll do it more reliably, but the high torque seems like overkill. Is it more of a truck thing? I've just got a hatchback haha.
Been wondering about the utility of high torque impacts for some time and figured you'd have a good answer. Thanks!
Rusty vehicle suspension work. It's a mechanic thing not a home owner thing.
Unless you're driving lag bolts all day.
Dcf921 is probably best all round.
@@mr2_mike Got it, that makes sense. Thanks for the info!
@@commentsonthetube14great comparison on torque test channel on Dewalt. I think there's a Milwaukee one too. Breaks down what impact you'd most likely need based on what you're looking to use it for.
Every flat-fix shop is armed with a Milwaukee high torque so when they fix your flat tires, you can’t get it off unless you own 😅 Milwaukee high torque impact
I didn't bother with a mid torque. If the stubby won't take something off I just go right for the high torque.
Its never met a rusty bolt or even pushing out rusted balljoints that it hasn't been able to handle.
Your impact won't work on lug nuts anything bigger then maybe an SUV. Once you're into truck stuff even the lugs are 150-200ft lbs or or. Cars are half that.
