Illinois Central Gulf and GM&O coal operating session, June 2024

In this operations video, an ICG coal train being pulled by a trio of SD40-2s is heading toward Hawkeye Yard. At the yard, some coal cars for the Commonwealth Edison power plant are cut from the train and delivered with a pair of GM&O GP35s (note, SD40-2s are too heavy for the power plant so the GP35s are needed, this is a prototypical fact!).
