Ben clearly hasn't watched Jokic play. He takes a high percentage of his shots from inside the paint and the mid-range, not lay-ups, but floaters and half-hooks, and he is widely acknowledged as the best in the game today.

Completely disagree, if anything this shows the NBA has learned from its past mistakes. Bigs used to get a full ride to the lottery solely off being tall with a little game and a lot of them turned out to be busts.
Nba lane is too wide or get rid of defensive 3 seconds like international rules.
Zach Edey is a very good college player ,his skill set dose not translate well to the nba game.He has slow feet ,performs poorly in the pick and roll,he can't play or defend on the wing.

He’s to slow & flat footed. Not an elite shot blocker even at his height. If you look at it he didn’t become a good defender until this year. Yes he’s dominant college player. But why should the league have to adjust to him ? He needs to adjust to the league. And unfortunately this isn’t 20 years ago. No one is going to throw the ball into the post every possession anymore. The games evolved. I don’t like it either but that’s the market.
Do you think when Trae Young crosses the half court line and launches a 35 footer without a single pass is a good basketball play? He is the poster boy for shitty basketball. What would happen to football if you got 9 points for a 40 uard touchdown pass? Why are there so many blowouts now and is that good for the NBA?
No.. I hate watching Trae Young play. I root against him. However; that doesn’t change the fact that that’s just how today’s game is played whether I like it or not is irrelevant. Zach’s game is just not very translatable to the modern nba.
He would get played off the floor & although I guess his best shot is avg 8-10 points a game off the bench against other 2nd units because that’s the ONLY WAY anyone is going to give him post touches. Listen, I was a post in college I love post play but in todays nba they’re not going to feed you in the post like that unless you’re a generational freak player & even those guys do a lot of other things. Tbh Zach’s post game isn’t very refined, like he’s not a fun player to watch & has about two moves so as much as I want to see more post play I still don’t care to watch him post up hence the problem as that’s literally the only thing he’s great at. He’ll never make the league but DJ Burns has a good/fun post game as an example.

Because the NBA is so much more advanced then throwing it to the tallest guy on the court and watching shoot a hook shot.. man the NBA sucks
There is something wrong with the NBA, they all play the same style 3s and dunks, don't invest themselves in physical defense, travel constantly, move on screens, and load manage! College is far superior they play a variety of styles, get physical on defense, play as a team don't take time off, and care. Edey and D.J. Burns are a pleasure to watch.
