The Lord is moving through many precious Amish communities to bring freedom to a people who are sincere in their faith, love God, but are in bondage to man. Partial truth is not truth, and causes Spiritual blindness. Spiritual abuse is not an uncommon thing in any "denomination" or religion. They may look like "mainstream" Christians, but the abuse and false doctrine, may be hidden--- but still there. Which is why God tells us ALL to seek Him with our whole heart, to know Him for OURSELVES, and we're promised that we will find Him. This is very similar with catholicism . The fear, excommunication, the true church, mysticism, etc. Years and years of it and still very painful and exhausting. Driven in your mind since youth.

It's really a sad thing when a group of people that became who they are to get away from the persecutors turned into the very people persecuting them. Him talking about not having a Bible in a language known to him and then finally reading one for himself is like when the Amish movement began with Zwilinsky. The Amish forgot who they are in Christ. Leaving any false church is difficult and a process to “ rewire “ your brain to understand the truths. I was in a false church, not Amish, but false. I praise God that He is calling out His sheep from all false teachings. there's over 10,000 religion, and all religions have people fall away. religion cannot save you. God made only one way to get to his Kingdom. Christ. that's what he died on the cross. in Old Testament you brought of the land to the priest, offer it up to God for forgiveness of your sin, Christ became the lamb for all sin, past present and future. but to get into his kingdom, You Must Believe In Christ. that is God's way, and no man, or religion can't change that. the law was created teaches how to love another.
Too bad that they have a false gospel message of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of "eternal" life to all who trust Him "alone" for salvation. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Not all Amish are same. There are a lot of Amish that read the English bible. There are Amish who are born again.
So here is what I think. The Amish leaders want you to only use a German Language Bible right? I wonder what the leaders would Say if you asked why in German? was Jesus from Germany and did Jesus speak in German?

Sabbath was specifically and only given to Isreal.

The only thing about the Amish and that yes they are christians I will are christians I would think they are I do believe and when I have known and experience of going with my father to all the Amish farms they do believe in Jesus Christ that do believe in his resurrection and so forth but they go and you don't know anything and then they pick out a minister in your congregation then after that guy learned from the 1st guy who was wrong about something they just keep perpetuating the same situation And it comes across is it's not wrong but it's not biblically correct it has Nothing to do with your salvation
