Whether you liked Gadaffi or not, Libya had fought slavery, gave free health care, free education, social housing, was virtually debt free and owned its own oil. A couple of those African Men were actually smiling, while being sold. That tells me something about some Africans.
Hard to even assume anything but I would guess they are confused and not fully aware of what's happening at this point. Likely being lied to at this point. Not like a lot of these migrants may not have had many educational opportunities. Prayers for everyone affected.
