    It was a great pleasure participating in the 45th General Assembly of the Major Superiors of Cameroon took place from 06 to March 08th 2024, at the headquarters of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon under the chairmanship of Father Ferdinand Owono Ndi, Provincial Superior of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, National President of the Conference of Major Superiors of Cameroon. The meeting theme was "Pilgrims of hope on the road to reconciliation and peace".
    The 45th General Assembly of Major Superiors opened with a Mass celebrated by His Grace Jean Mbarga, Archbishop of Yaoundé.
    The Assembly was enhanced by the remarkable presence of their Excellencies Faustin Ambassa, Archbishop of Garoua, and Alain Philippe Mbarga, Bishop of Ebolowa, in their capacities as President and Vice-President of the National Episcopal Commission for Consecrated Life.
    Although some Major Superiors from the Province of Bamenda could not attend due to security concerns, all the other Major Superiors and Delegates from the other four ecclesiastical provinces were present.
    Sister Agnes Njume, Superior General of the Sisters of Saint Therese of Buea will take on the role of Vice-President. We want to say a special thank you to Sister Gloria for her witness of faith, her dynamism and her availability.
    The 45th Assembly of Major Superiors of Cameroon closed with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Mgr José Avelino Bettencourt, Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.
