June Carter Cash was such a unique and amazing singer and just never got the true recognition and stardom she deserved. I could listen to her voice all night long and his too.
I love that June Carter is singing alto while Johnny is singing the melody where it should be the reverse. He has the deeper voice, but the combination of the two voices is just wonderful. She's supporting the melody and I sing along in her tone while the two are singing. This is one of my favorite songs by the couple. She's not wrong in some of the words she's singing. She's just into another verse of the song. It's great to see her recover, laugh about it, and follow along with whatever he's doing.
