When I'm climbing, I frequently find spiders at 7000ft in November running across the snowfields. They can survive fucking anything. Dont worry about bringing them outside.
Most spiders you find in your house do not come from outside, they come from the other spiders in your house, there are hundreds if not thousands of spiders in most houses, in the wall and the roof, you just don't see them and they don't bother you.
at my college, the main night watchman for the dorms was an old trek fan in his 50s who was fluent in Klingon, and would wear his Klingon cosplay outfits whenever he was allowed to... at like Halloween and stuff, it was great to see someone so non-ironically into something so freaking bizarre, to be honest. a lot of the students would ask him to translate English stuff into Klingon... he seemed like the "Klingons are really my true soul" kind of earnest about it.

When I was moving house in Australia, we opened the guest bedroom after about 2 years of it being dormant... and along the window sills there were thousands of spiders... Definitely not a fun time!
The ants off to the side doing fuckall help ensure the survival of the colony if something wipes out the ones all lined up at a single food source. It's the same for body cells & lots of other systems: a balance of order & randomness makes for homeostasis.

But now, not even having watched the 4 most recent episodes, I can safely assume a majority will end with discussion about poop/cock or sex/other vile things. Doesn't really leave me craving more in the end. If they just had somthing special at the end like Pyrions Bodega/Sips cooking tips/Lewis's zen affirmations/or some other thing, I think it would vastly improve the overall quality of these podcasts.
I know you guys live somewhere with similar weather and they will actually either die outside as our Autumns and winters are too cold and wet or they will find your way back into your home where they can't be seen.
What I do with spiders is, get em trapped under a jar or some shit, then, get some DW40 spray it on them and any eggs I see, and light it up with a match or something. It's really fun
