    I'm a disabled gamer ,.. i mapped keys for wasd and use the thumbstick to emulate the mouse aim ,..
    it's mot perfect but as a 1 handed person it allowed me to return to gaming after my stroke.
    p.s. i have all versions ,.. the mini is best for most users , for my needs as a 1 handed gamer cyborg is the clear choice.

    The one thing I've learned from programmable keyboards is there's no such thing as setting up the key configs once and you're good 😁 particularly with keyboards that allow for combos (multiple key presses producing different effects) and/or layers. It becomes almost a meta game haha

    Great video. The Cyborg is awesome for anyone looking for a keyboard alternative. I can't use a keyboard to game at all and have used tons of keyboard alternatives and the Azeron is the best by far. I upgraded to the cyborg and gave my original 2 azerons to my son and granddaughter. The azeron is the only thing keeping this 60 yr old gaming. There is a learning curve training your fingers, especially the ring and pinky. I use the Azeron for multiple shooters and some kids games I play with my grandson. and it works great. I rebind the keys in game the 1st time I play and then I am set. It's worth every penny.

      @@Reeceezy your palm never really moves when on Cyborg, so it might be a solution for you. I've been more concerned about carpal tunnel with my mouse (Azeron doesn't solve it) but when it comes to comfort with my Azeron, I just adjust the hight of my chair arm-rest, place my hand on the device and never really do any wrist moves during my gaming sessions. I personally was better equipped to play with a keyboard than @MNfightingsaintsgaming but some of the Fortnite finger gymnastics required were just too much for me. Once I got used to my keybinds on Azeron, back from Azeron to keyboard is a big no no for me.

    Man I have used a lot of these since 2001. Belkin N50, N52, N52e. Razer Orbweaver. Logitech G13. Back in the day I kicked it on my bed with an adj arm display holder, one of those gamepads and a Logitech thumb ball/Trackball since 1991 (Trackman, Trackman Marble, Trackman Wheel, M570, m575 and the MX ERGO as my current device.
    YES I have been gaming on stationary thumb style mice since the 90s. The precision you can get with a keyboard gamepad and trackball mouse is insane. TINY movements and accuracy is the result of a good programing setup. The MX Ergo precision mode button that works amazingly well looking down a scope as a sniper.

    Mini USB wasn't so much a design choice as it was what the microcontroller running the Azeron (the Teensy++ 2.0) has on board. While mini-b could have been adapted to USB-C in the device itself, it would have added a point of failure. I'm currently building a mixer that will change per-application volume in Windows. I'm building it around an Arduino Nano, which also uses mini-B. For something that stays plugged in, this will be more than robust enough.

      @GroteGlon Před 7 měsíci

      @anghDescartes end users like you are the biggest pain I swear to god. The amount of words you process on a keyboard withing a minute is not the speed I'm talking about. I'm talking about the delay between an input and output. Bluetooth latency is about 34ms in best case, about 200 worst case. The brand new bluetooth 5.3 promises 20ms best case scenario, which is still too high. A modern wired keyboard is anywhere like a corsair k65 will do about 0.4, the average wired gaming keyboard will do worst case about 4 maybe 5ms.
      Bluetooth would be useless, because you'd have to build in batteries, which needs redesigns, increases size, and drives up cost. For what? Increased latency on a product that needs to be as fast as possible? Stop being smug and arrogant, go back to your office job, and send the IT worker a ticket instead of walking to his desk next time.

What I hate is that in game sometimes the keys register as if I'm holding them down when I'm not. It's as if they are stuck. Keypads like the Tartarus and This are frankly a must if you want to be better at games. The best part is you can map the same abilities between games to the same keys so you are not losing muscle memory between games. Dodge is always the same key, shoot is the same key. Also killer in MMO's as you can really put that kep mapping to use and swap between mmo's without missing a step. Also the grip tape has made this much better. I use the tartarus and found the cyborg too slippery, grip tape has fixed this. You can also get grip tape for the buttons as well just remember to clean the oils off with an alchol pad before attaching. Overall I'm happy to have an alternative as other keyboard makers have moved away from a keypad with Razer being one of the few with a egronoic design and now with Azeron I have two options.

I'm looking at the joystick and was wondering how it's recognized in games if it's mapped as a joystick? Azeron has done a fairly good job in burying bad press in regards to this issue but the fact that it is not mentioned in this video should inform you in regards to the QC and honesty in this review. It is a great product that will fail due to it being printed and not manufactured properly. For 200$ I expected more.
