    Thanks! Right now I've got 30 meters of Ethernet cable. I could add more without significant power loss, but I doubt the ROV would sustain deeper dives. 20 meters seems to be the most is tolerates, largely due to a mistake I made when potting it with epoxy. The motors are just regular bilge pumps, which I doubt are waterproof beyond greater depths anyway!

    Thanks. :-) I spent about 2000 NOK on the upgrade. The largest cost was all the Bulgin connectors required, then the laminating epoxy. Since the vertical thrusters aren't really needed, I could have cut out two connectors, and with some better planning of space usage less epoxy could have been used. How much I've spent these previous two years on the tether I'm unsure of, but it's not too much.
