@@mgriffin42455 i think the blades are a lot thinner than the ones on a gas mower. if so, the blades would bend so bad if you have limbs in your yard :O
@Johnsonfan169 I'm certain it's a good vehicle. Although it is not what one would consider an actual "truck " . As in a vehicle to haul, tow ,work. It was an attempt to promote humor not to hurt anyone's feelings.
And how much are the batteries?, the charger, and how long will the batteries last before you buy new ones? I'll pass! My mom's got a little green works self propelled battery operated mower, big battery won't last 20 minutes! New battery $160.00 ! Lasts about 40 minutes! I'd rather buy a commercial grade Honda!
Put it up for the winter. Then next spring pull it out and throw it away because a new battery costs as much as a new mower. Assuming they even sell replacement batteries.
Don’t worry, the batteries will cost you more than 4 of these mowers combined. It’s like copy machines, they basically give you the copier, but the ink will cost you both arms and legs.
It's nice, but the last time I saw one for sale you could almost buy two gas powered zero turns, and that saving will buy you gas for it for years to come
Just wondering how long it will last or you have to replace the batteries and you go to replace them and Ryobi has changed the design of the batteries and they don’t work on the mower. Then all you have is a piece of yard art.
Cool but from an actual equipment operators point of view. Your drive and steering stick should be on your left side NOT the right side. That would throw me off.
@rickyanke9407 no on machines like skid steers, dozers, track loaders, wheel loaders, graders, skidders, ect your drive stick is gonna be on your left side and your hydraulics on your right side.
@@Dirt_Relocation_Specialist any loader, tractor backhoe, I've used, all bucket function has been on the right, and that's your real control hand. But if you can't adapt, that tells us all we need to know. Good luck!
@@rickyanke9407 oh I can adapt do I want to? No I like my gas powered zero turn. Yes that's what I'm saying the RIGHT SIDE is ALWAYS your hydraulic controls for implements. Seriously, RYOBI…the run time is so low, it could only do a lot small enough to easily push mow. This is good for people with both disabilities and small yards ONLY.
@@silvy7394 Ask my neighbor, he got a EV push mower. A plastic part the blade attached to broke. Called the manufacturer hot line and was told they don't have that part for sale!!! Same engine (annual oil change), several sets of tires, filters and blades. Come on back 40 years and tell me how great you EV is!!!
I wanna embrace new technology, but the simple fact is this. Every person has an old drill that’s battery that’s been dead for YEARS. This will end up the same way unfortunately when new batteries won’t be worth it while old gas mowers w simple maintenance will last 20 + years
RYOBI does not honor their warranty. Do not buy RYOBI if you are in HAWAII. You will be forced to ship to the mainland for service. I was quoted almost $200 shipping cost from UPS & USPS for my weed wacker that is still under warranty for the SLOWEST possible shipping. This means you are without the tool for weeks/months in addition to the cost, assuming they will even honor your claim.
If people were worried about figuring out a lawn mower they shouod just hire a landscaper. 4g for around an hour of operating time depending on grass density. Ill stick to gas thanks.
Does anybody notice that all these lawn mower videos the grass is the worst grass in the world? Every single one of them buys a high-end expensive lawn mower to mow weeds
But the big question the really only important question is how long does it continuously last in medium level grass?? We don't care if he can't figure out how to lower it to actually cut grass😂
My experience is most tools with a Ryobi sticker, are lightweight, not built to last, or intended for heavy use. This example looks to be the same… like a toy.
In 2017 I bought a lot of Ryobi 18v tools for a house build because they were so much cheaper than the red ones and I’ve had so many yellow ones not hold up. I expected them to be trashed after that house and maybe make it to the remodel I had lined up after. Out of the 15 tools, only 1 drill has died and it ran thousands of screws, put on 8 roofs, rebuilt 2 vintage campers, and built a big treehouse. It was drilling 3/4” holes in hickory that finally killed it. I’ve never had cordless tools last this long.
@@StevenBagley Happy that’s your experience. However, with 35+ years as a semi-retired G.C. (Hands on Builder with employees), on hundreds of projects, including large steel buildings that can have 10-20K screws each. Over those years, I haven’t seen a total of 20 Ryo tools being used by trade professionals in my region. To me, that speaks volumes. Maybe they’re adequate quality for the price point / target market (DIY’er), but the reality is, if they were Commercial Grade, more professionals would own and use them. ✌🏻

Literally try mowing some grass with it.
A single blad of grass was not harmed making this video

Good exercise too
Can you show us a link for that ?@@SuixdeCity

Riiiight.
Where’s your bud light bro?

Nice! I was considering buying one of these but needed a demo 😅
Coool looks so smooth and it just glidess so like can you send me one to see how easy it is pretty please with 2 cherries 🍒 on top?
I always charge my customers extra for mowing over mowed grass. This machine will work great for me.
And....... its time to charge. Tell the customer youll be back tomorrow
Not worth the money 😮
Does this mower has a cooling fan or how long can you cut the grass? Do you have to wait for the mower to cool down, if so how long?

We're buying one of these babies❤wow it's awesome
How long can I run it before I smell the motor?
What about the motor, is it brushless or not? How long will this motor last, or hours?
TORO laughing watching this 😂
how long does it last?
33 minutes. Charge time is 3 hours to full state.
Aging wheels bought this mower a year ago and the battery life decreased dramatically within the span of a year under normal use
