The Infected is an open world sandbox, survival crafting game. Build your base defend and protect yourself from wildlife and the infected (Hybrid Vampire-Zombie) - Hry
I really like how CZcams reccomends random videos by creators you've never seen and games you've never heard of.

Love this. The inventory system and a lot of the build mechanics are 100% Green Hell, although the environment itself it definitely giving a Forest feel. Being able to mine rocks reminded me a lot of 7 Days to Die as well.

A shame it's not on Playstation. I thought of all 3 while watching this and it's definitely one I want to eventually play.

Yep, very similar to the forest, even the blueprint for the constructions. The sequel of the Forest is being released this year though, looks amazing

Hi, a little tip, if you have trouble seeing, melons, corn, sticks, rocks, dead birds ect... just drop the foliage to the lowest setting in your graphics settings, you will see things a lot better. you also can harvest the wood logs into firewood and sticks.

Honestly, I don't mind if a game copies one or two mechanics from other games. But if it outright clones a game and somehow gets more recognizable than the original, then that's when we are gonna have problems.
This game has huge potential, graphics and sounds are amazing. Crafting and building basic now but definitely has a lot of potential

Saw this in my recommendations and I’m glad I decided to watch it.
I'd give this a mini-series maybe a few episodes unless you really enjoy the game. I personally, feel as if it's too much of a "low budget" green hell, though I can see potential in it. I just don't like when games copy another game too much, I get that creating an original game is difficult because there are so many survival games out there, but from the food system to the storage system, it seems almost like a direct copy from Green hell.
I kinda feel like green hell took the storage and craft system from the forest though as well
