It looks lovely. Aw, I felt so sorry for you when you were getting cross with yourself. As creatives, we can sometimes only see the parts that annoy is or the bits that didnât go to plan-but to others, they just see the beauty of it all.
Itâs important to show these videos though-as we all have âoffâ days.
I see so much of myself in you. Iâm a bit of a perfectionist too. Iâve tried to move away from selling things that have a near-perfect finish to them and Iâm trying to move into ârusticâ but even now-it still bugs me because I am not used to selling things that are rustic đ€Šđœââïžđ.
I have to remind myself-the buyer will see the beauty of itâŠbut itâs a constant âinner battleâ. xx

Tiggy, I love your videos so much. You make me laugh when you get irritated with yourself because you waited too long. I do that too often too. Your soaps are always so beautiful.
3/3/23 this never showed in my usual thread of videos. Did you use a swirl tool but did not video? Covid. Ugh. Gyms were highly contagious areas. Glad you are on the mend.

We are our own worst enemies when it comes to making soap. Why weâre hyper critical of how it comes out and usually it really isnât a big deal. This soap is lovely donât be annoyed at all. Sorry to hear you have Covid. I went through that in July and although I wasnât that hill with it I have suffered extreme fatigue cents and just canât get my head back in the game so Iâm hoping itâll pass soon. Hope you donât have similar problems
We really are. I knew it would be ok when cut but you know how it goes! The fatigue is bad. I'm only doing a few hours a day at work at the moment. It's such a bore though. In your mind you're fine, then you realise you can't go full steam ahead like you used to. I hope you feel much better very soon x

Love the soap! I hope your feeling better I had covid in December of 2021 and was all throat and my skin hurt! Then came the sleep! I slept for a week,
Well it is September 29th 2022 and I am still dealing with the throat, I am miserable! Lots of pudding and soups..... I am on 2 low dose chemo drugs to Kill my immune system.....so itake so much longer to heal.

Soap setting up too quickly to do a proper sculpted top happens to the best of us. I think the soap came out absolutely beautiful. Do you just keep a bucket of plain water to hold your spatula and end of stick blender after you are done using them? Does that help with cleanup afterwards?
It really does, yes. After 17 years of doing this for a living, you'd think I'd know better, right? I keep a jug of water with dish soap in it to clean off my stick blender if I'm using more than one colour, but not all the time. It does help the stick blender to be cleaner before going into my dishwasher.
I get so annoyed when i leave the texturing a bit late as well, can so relateđ€đ
