Love it great job. A suggestion for the lid is to put on the inside of the lid just a little bit smaller than the circumference of all four sides put a piece of poster board and glue it on there so that the lid does not move side to side.

I've seen several of the lantern diy's. Yours is by far the best. The tiered blocks and the handle with the copper and thick rope give it a very "expensive" , classy vibe. Very nice.

I worked at Home Depot for 3 yrs. Lumber dept. will make 2 free cuts, after that there is a minimal fee per cut. Cute DIY project!

I'm new to your channel! O absolutely love your farmhouse decor! I will be watching more of you! I'm from Michigan near the lake Michigan a mom a wife. I'm new to diy and doing some of the diy project's for my home. I must say I did do this pattern but did mine a little different didn't have enough window sticks for all my window's lol. It did turn out like I said I did it a little different. I will attempt this again for my Sunday school class where the young youth girls love to craft!! Thank you very much for sharing...
