That book Christmas tree turned out so cute. It was my favorite.
I remember the book trees.
We used to mak them with the Readers Digest magazines.
I'm not a Fall person. It just reminds me that Winter is next! We have short summers & long , cold, snowy winters! Loved the book tree the best!

Used to make the book trees when I was a little girl. Made out of readers digest, the phone books, TV guides, old sears catalog etc. Have not thought about that in a long time. I am 58. Also made wreath out of wire coat hanger and Plastic bags.

Totally trying the Christmas tree book…thinking I may print out a couple of pages of Christmas song sheet music/lyrics to attach to the side pages on either side of the tree, in an antique-y style craft paper…super cute!!!

I love the Christmas tree book! When I was a child, my mom would sit us down with the old phone book and have us make those, we spray painted them green, and that was it...it kept us entertained and busy for a while, while she wrapped presents. 🤗

Love the folded book project mounted on the mirror. I like to see craft videos for any season anytime so I can purchase supplies as I see them on sale during the year. Then I’m all set when the seasons roll around. Thanks for your inspiration!
Love both of these, the book tree I’m going to make a couple of these as I bought quite a few books from the thrift store a good while ago and haven’t used them for anything yet and I loved the tree in the middle of the book and I also think I may do the ribbon one cos it looked great. I’m going to also check out your Christmas video from last year too, so thank you for sharing these with all of us and for the inspiration. I have to start doing Christmas projects around now or I won’t get them done in time for Christmas. I’m not that quick as I don’t have a lot of time, I live with my daughter and there are 3 boys 8, 9 and 10 and a new born daughter. My grandchildren don’t give me much spare time. I have 21 of them but only 4 that live in the state I’m in and I’m with them 24/7. Have a great week.

I just came over from Yami's channel. I love her creativity and if she recommends you then I'm in. I love your book Christmas tree it's lovely. I've seen these made from magazines using all of the pages to make a stand alone tree tobdecorate in any way you choose
I like my fall projects to come out early in Sept. After all fall doesn't officially start till Sept 21st. Then they can run fight into November with a small addition of some Halloween projects. Myself I don't like the spooky orrigions of Halloween so I just ignore the ghosts and goblins totally.
I have read Susan Browns books and found them to be entertaining if you like who done its, which I do. She puts together some pretty good detective stories.

It might be easier to keep the loops the same size if you punch all the holes in the ribbon before you start putting it on the wire. Cute diys. tfs
