Not everyone can afford a PC so that's what the SX is for.
For me, it's the quietness of the Xbox Series X that is genuinely impressive. I play in a very quiet room so I can normally hear even the slightest fan rev up or electronic buzzing - but the XSX is truly silent unless I put my ear to it. It's an impressive feat of engineering - and one I really do appreciate!

I have the Xbox Serious X too and it's such a luxury console, once games like Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Elder Scrolls 6, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Fallout 5 and Indiana Jones come out this system is truly going to shine
I'll be getting one because my friends are mostly on Xbox... I'm not buying one until a game I really want comes out though.

I’m confused which next gen console to buy. I already have PS 4 and I am quite sceptical whether buying xbox will be a worthy one. What do you recommend to a person who used PS4 for last 5 years?
Depends on what you play. Me personally would stick with PS5 because you can play all your PS4 games on it even PS4 disc. They are also coming out with upgrades from ps4 to 5. If you have a pc then you can play all Xbox games on there so there’s no need for an Xbox tbh.

@@androidwonderland If you like exclusives like Demon’s Souls and God of War, buy the PS5. If you don’t play or care about exclusives, it doesn’t matter. They’re pretty much the same in power.
Get a series s for now and then a ps5 when there are exclusives. Unless you only play games like cod,apex,etc. Then xbox is the better option
@infected that’s the best pass. PS service gives you only 1AAA title free every month whereas you get to play most of the games on game pass. Lovely 😊

Pretty much everything that’s enhanced because its actually fully using the console
I was looking to get a PS5 but can’t get one anywhere so managed to pick up a series x and I am very happy with it. Will get a PS5 later in the year.
i would wait till the next version of the ps5 it doesn't seem finished.
Had a ps5 for 4 days but traded it for xsx after it started randomly buzzing the guy even threw in an extra $50

Thanks for the review. I've just bought a Series X and it's still in the box. The main reason I bought it, is with the backwards capability, I can play all my Lego games with my Grandson. And the bonus of a 4K Bluray player. I haven't been online for a few years now, doubt if I can remember my Xbox login. Oh well. Looking forward to using this.

when it comes to the connectivity of the controllers being weird, a quick fix i found is to plug in the controller directly to the xbox
Love the no wires. I had a similar issue with my controller only once too but I think that was a FH4 bug rather than the Xbox. I also think people will struggle to realise that a full shutdown is different to the shut down in the controller menu so a lot of "turn it off and on again" fixes will leave people thinking something is broken.
I’ve had mine since launch. Runs beautifully! Extremely quick loading. Gorgeous graphics. Not a problem yet.

Totally agree with the UI and the backgrounds and tiles, this is the second review I've seen mention this and say the same and I thought I was the only one who may have thought this. I like to use custom backgrounds for my Xbox and when the blocks and squares all load up, it just covers it up way too much. I hope they change this in the future with an update for sure!! ❤️🙏
Hey man, nice vid - I just subscribed! I've had the Series X since launch and, although I like it a lot, I feel a little underwhelmed at the similarity with my One X. If I didn't know any different, I'd swear I was still playing on that machine! I don't own an HDMI 2.1 TV and, tbh, none of the handful of games that currently utilise the 'next gen' capabilities interest me anyway. Hopefully, that's all gonna change with the release of Resident Evil Village in a few weeks' time.
I've personally had zero technical issues with the console & certainly no controller disconnects - strange one, that. The only thing I've noticed is losing control of the playback functions (pause/stop/fast-forward etc) when using the media player to view video from a connected external hard drive.

NICE XBOX. yes I fully watched the entire review as I was curious and wondering about certain features in particular. I found this video helpful as it helped shed light on certain aspects I was wondering about. this was a very nice well done, clean simple but straight to point review. I want to say great job on the effort, the review and for having a very tidy setup. xD I also like the fact that besides pointing what could potentially be any improvments, you don't really have anything bad to say about this hardware at all. as for there being no new games, well time will eventually tell. it is still after all in early process. games are still being designed and created as it can take a very long time to bring out new creative games. after having to bare in mind the fact that these developers don't just make games, theres the storylines they gotta think of, the actors do come and do voice overs and movement to track, facial reconition body movements ect, they gotta get time to book studio rehearsals with bands and orcstras and then of course, the actual creative developing compure CGI animated capturing and designing aspects of designing said future games to be said, its really given me more apriciation for video games. to most people, a video game is just a game to be seen on a screen and played n enjoyed with online buddies and or family members. to me, its the whole time actually spent. you look at games like PUBG for example. as slow movement as that game is and how long it takes for the buildings and scenery to load in at the start of every match, its still the thought process behind it all the concept art and the sheer fact that the developers although do get critsisms for their games, they are still working and gradually improving them. games like GTAV where they actually base areas of actual places and make it life like in game, it just gives you that much more enjoyment for these video games. anyway rant over lol thank you for reading and thank you for a well done thurough review. rather pleased how far we have come after all these years. it gives me hope for the future to see what games they will design and give us next and where we all go from here. the ideas are endless.

6:20 Ive noticed this too. I think it has something to do with how Xbox has always been a much more serious multiplayer focused console. PS has always focused more on single player experiences. Gears and Halo are a perfect example. Both games have pretty huge skill gaps and both have cultivated huge followings that have gotten used to very difficult multiplayer over years and years of play. My guess is over time once these communities branched out into other games, the brought with them there competitive edge. I could be wrong but i dont think there has been a PS exclusive thats done the same.

I spent up for the expansion card and it is definitely nice, seamless integration with the internal SSD. The price is high but actually the exact same compared to other Gen 4 PCIe drives. Also nice Xbox 😎
I wouldn't say that considering many 2tb gen 4 pcie nvme's are 3 times faster than the 1tb Xbox memory card, but only cost $200 more. 🤷 Microsoft realy should have built in an expansion bay for non memory card nvme drives like Sony has. A 2tb version of the Xbox memory card will cost $700 outside of the USA yet it will still be 3 times slower than the ps5 speeds.

Yes you should, I jumped into the Xbox train on the 360, and while I didn’t experience the halo franchise until a few months ago thanks to game pass and the master chief collection, those are great games. As for gears, I’ve been a fan ever since the first one, I loved playing those with my brother coop locally and now that we live apart we played through 5 online, very enjoyable games to play with friends

They finally added the one feature I was asking for, filter the store by pricing. I get lots of random gift cards and searching through games that are above my budget is so annoying. It’s a shame I’ve only just found out they added it because I had some money in my account not so long ago.

I’ve had my Elite Series 2 controller for about 4 months now, and I can’t imagine going back to normal controllers. The built-in battery and the rubber grips along the sides, joysticks, and triggers are extremely useful. It is a bit expensive at about $180 USD but I definitely recommend it to you

I've had mins since launch as well. I love it. Fast, silent, and quick resume is a real game changer. I have nothing but praise. It's cool playing a game where I'm used to 50 second load times and with this beast that is down to 3 seconds.
I’ve had mine since about two weeks after launch. Going from the original launch Xbox one to the series x is a massive upgrade and I love mine so far. But yes, the only issue I have with the console is that sometimes the controllers completely lose connection to the console. This happens when I have the console on during a game and I switch out my chargeable batteries. Other than that, I love it so much. Looking forward to the future with this generation!

How's that OLED bro? Any problems with brightness? Looking at the new LG G1, but not sure if the increased brightness with worth the price vs a cheaper last year model.
Hello mate, I love it. No issues with the brightness for me, but my room is pretty dark compared to most. If (a big if) I change my TV, I'd probably go for the C1. Not sure the 20% brightness is worth it for me either.
@@SpawnPoiint I wouldn't pay double the amount for a G1 thats 20% brighter and people saying around 900 nits or so eh no thx...If you can find a CX for cheap i would jump on it just OLED alone its a experience jump from QLED/LCD that's for sure

The controller disconnecting problem hasn't been happening to me lately, but when it does happen I just hold on to the power button on the Xbox until it shuts itself off and wait a couple seconds to turn it back on.

When my controller loses the connection, I just pop a battery for 1 sec, put back in, turn on, good to go. Though just like you it only happens if I let the controller go into sleep mode

I managed to bag a series x with 24 months of game pass altimate on all access. I'm so excited, I currently play on the base xbox, I can't wait to see the difference between the two.

I feel that the face value improvements in graphics are less and less between system launches now.

A bunch of Bethesda games have just been added to gamepass, it's a brilliant service. Sony really need to add something akin to gamepass. At the moment it's a no brainer to use XSX as your main console due to gamepass. I'll be using the PS5 as an offline console for exclusives. Shooter games have always been more difficult on Xbox, competitive eSports console gaming originated on Xbox with the old halo games. "Nice Xbox."

You wish. Sony are a bunch of greedy assholes. Just look at PS Plus, charging gamers just to play multiplayer for games they already bought. What do they get in return? Free games that no one literally cares about and occasionally some 5-year old AAA games.

I’ve been having HDR issues with mine ever since I got it November 11th. If I have HDR turned on (which I do for every game I play) it makes game clips very dark for some reason. It only works when I have HDR on but I prefer it on... how do I fix it?

I’ve been tempted to pick up the new Xbox but at a later date. The only game that interests me at the moment is a game called ‘Medium’ which I believe is on Xbox game pass. I’ve been looking more towards the digital version of the console and the disk version of the Playstation 5.
I’m all for an overview of the headphones. I use Astro A40 headphones myself and interested to see how the new Xbox headsets perform. 🙌
Oh nice! The A40s will be hard to beat (I had the A50s). So everything I've had since have a lot to live up to haha. But I'll give them a go.

I only had the controller problem when it died, the best work around is to turn the controller off if you're gonna be gone long enough, or turn the controller off first before changing batteries

You can change the background to some abstract designs. I wish we could set pictures from gallery or something as background
You can do that with an Xbox One X, I assume Series X can as well. Just plug in a usb with images on it I’ve done it. Achievements also often have custom artwork you can set too

@@ayushvispute7857 you can download images from the internet through edge and place them as your background. You can also join Clubs, people uplaod a lot of high quality images of stuff you may like
You got some apps in the store specifically for background pictures. Just search background and try some out. Like another person said you can also put it on a USB drive. Another option is to upload it to dropbox and select it in the app. Achievement art or screen scraptures is another possibility.

As someone who played on both consoles witch one would you suggest to me who had xbox 360 and one ? I heard ps5 have problem with overheating while xbox have had no issues what so ever

Really good review I’ve had tons of PlayStation controllers batteries die already it’s absolutely ridiculous I love the Xbox controller especially since you can have a swappable batteries
Exactly. People complain about using aa's but you can just buy a 20 dollar battery pack
I’ve had the Astro A10s since about a month after I got my Xbox one. They’ve never had an issue, and they sound amazing. I haven’t experienced the new Xbox wireless headset, but if you don’t mind the wire, I’d say the astros are some of the best headphones on the market. And I’ve had a few, but every time, I got back to the simple old A10s.
I’ve the series x still in the box since Christmas. Waiting see if their was any software issues
