Hello, I realy apreciate your videos and information. I have one cuestion, I am preparing a project, it is about making mats for climbers, they are small mats to clean the climbing shoes of dust and mud before climbing. I have seen carpet weaving machines and they all use soft cotton or similar yarn. Can't you tell me if I can use a harder or more resistant thread like polyester or polypropylene thread? Can these machine handle it? thank you very much for your help.
Hey, I did this and the yarn is snagging and the needle is ripping the thread now. I made sure that piece wasn’t too high as well. How can i fix this? My fabric is as tight as possible and I’m applying the same amount of pressure I was applying when it was working before adjusting
Tim Eads so i changed the screw like in the video shown, but since the gear on the belt is set to the closest hole the speed that the head moves is super fast, feeding yarn quickly. Any advice on how to change that but still having the pile height at the highest position?
Hi! I did this but it seemed to add only few millimetres, I went from approx. 6-8 mm to 8-10 mm pile. How could I get the 14 mm that is mentioned to be the maximum?
@@auraisabelpelliccioni2229 @Aura Isabel Pelliccioni No, if I remember correctly Tim answered this by saying to submit my situation in the webpage support form. (Can't see Tim's reply though now, weird?) But unfortunately I would've needed the information of my purchase for the official technical support form. My machine was co-owned and when I got it I didn't get the receipt or paperwork 😬 Maybe you can try through that still 😊
So I just bought a loop pile gun. But the 2nd peice you adjusted that pushed fabric... well mines is facing UPWARDS and yours is facing DOWNWARDS. Whats with that? Is mines a fake? Or was it built wrong?

Not sure if you have the same as mine but there is a dial at the bottom of the handle. Next to where the cord connects.
