I like the loop because It does look more “ older style hand made “ I have the hand held needle and tried numerous times but the stitches all pulled out. Now I understand. Thank you so much. Love your work and careful information/instructions. Keep up the great work!
I like both looks, and would probably use them both but for different things. Actually, now I'm wondering how it would turn out if you would use both styles on the same rug for different parts, like doing loop for skin but cut for hair...
it depends on the purpose and amount of traffic the rug is apt to get. in my mind, if it's a rug that's going to be walked on with any frequency i might consider the loop as that just seems like it would be easier to clean.
Have you ever used cut pile & cut pile in a rug? And have you ever heard of hand tufting with an oxford punch needle tough to get corners for added detail?
My favorite will be the cut pile, but I like the fact that in a rug guns that you're selling it has both, for a fair price. My only question - are you located somewhere near Los Angeles? I think I would feel safer in case if this tool will needs some fixing I can bring it to your office or studio, doesn't matter. As long as I don't have to mail it. Thank you in advance.
I think i prefer cut pile. I like designing with different colors. So beautiful have watched videos and I need where to buy the tufting gun? I really need it urgently
Hello from Mexico! I am researching about the manufacture of rugs and I found your channel and it seems wonderful, I have a question, WHAT TYPE OF THREAD IS USED TO MAKE THE RUGS AND WHERE IS IT BUY?
Do you know the model number or have a manual available for this tufting gun? I picked up this gun second hand and I noticed it's not on your website anymore. Thanks!
Is there any sort of adjustments I can make with a cut pile so that it rips the fabric less often? I want to use both, but I have been leaning towards just using the loop pile because of this. Otherwise the gun works great. Thanks!
Hola, como estas Que pena unas dudas, osea que con esa pistola se pueden hacer ambos cortes de los que muestras en el video? se pueden hacer curvas con esta pistola? como se llama y donde se puede comprar? hacen envios a Colombia?
If you ordered from our website please email me with your order number. julian@euphoricsupply.com and I can send you another pair! If not we will be selling them on our website soon hopefully by Monday !!
When tufting make sure to tuft from bottom position, and stroke upward with the gun. Light pressure is needed to hold the gun properly and make the best stroke.
@@lcastiillo_ check the fabric make sure its pulled back tightly on each side of the frame. I really like how they both look and think they do both offer different things. I just prefer the shag look. Cut pile it is for me
I like cut pile a lot more. It just locks eo much fluffier. I love that

Thanks for explaining the difference.
Cut pile > loop pile for me.

I’M deciding on which gun….and I’m leaning towards cut pile…since it seems easier and I’m a beginner. Thanks.

Do you think you can create pieces using a tufting gun on clothing material like a Jean jacket?
No, the backing cloth is pretty specific. You could tuft it on backing material and then glue or sew the tufted part to a jean jacket though!
@@captnjim. true, and at that point you might be better off checking into embroidery.
I need the machine please I'm in Zambia
when i purchase a gun can i request it come installed with the loop pile?
It’s very very easy to swap them, I recommend learning how to take the gun apart. You will need to be able too, in order to clean it and oil it
