    My condolences to Bonni’s family. I watched the Mickey Mouse Club in the 50’s as a child. I continue to be a Disney fan. Thoughts and Prayers to you.

    I use to watch this show all the time when I was a kid. I remember being at Disneyland when they had there Debut. I remember coming home after school in the 50's and waiting for five a clock to watch The Mickey Mouse Club.

    They had the female Mouseketeers in drag playing male parts but never the other way round. I guess the idea of boys playing girls was considered too far out for a kids show in the 1950s. Double standards.
