The only tools you need is a oil filter wrench in a 15 mm socket.

On this engine he should see better mileage from 18.1 to about 23.2 or something of that nature. Personal experience with this oil; the AFM system helps and I know this oil will help keep the chain guides clean, since they have a tendency to stick with the competitor oil.
Question.. 2 weeks ago I bought a 2014 Sierra 5.3 with 128000 miles and need the oil change... what kind of oil you recommend?
I would recommend getting Amsoil Signature Series and an engine oil filter and two bottles of Amsoil Pi performance improver to clean the fuel system the valves and the injectors and I would also get a bottle of engine flush which will clean out the crankcase and get all the carbon deposits out of there before you put the hundred percent synthtic in.

Got a 08 denali 6.2 can i flush and same here? i want to but want to only if safe so ive used mobil1 5-30 since day 1 of ny 2nd owner ownership and its got a lotttt of miles 260k but runs great thx
Of course it's completely safe I have flushed vehicles with well over 300 and it is always a big difference in power performance smoother idle better fuel mileage.
There's a couple of things that I would do as well like the amsoil Power Foam also a bottle of amsoil PI Performance Improver and I would also do the engine flush like you mentioned and I do everything to my Cadillac in this video here -

Amsoil is good but there are many options. Also, don’t go 25,000 miles before changing your oil. SuperTech with a premium oil filter every 5,000 miles is perfect. Changing your oil frequently is better than high end oil purchases.
Actually changing your oil sooner with a lower quality oil there will be a lot more where on the Pistons and Kim's scientifically proven.
The length of the oil change doesn't matter the only thing that matters is that the film strength is still complete.
100% synthetic motor oil has a higher film strength which keeps the metal separated and has less heat less friction unless we're.
Supertech in Mobil 1 are not even comparable in where protection because of the cold start protection that Amsoil has and the high heat film strength also it maintains its viscosity much better.

Synthetic Oil Protection There is no question that Amsoil is a great oil. I don’t disagree. Blackstone Labs has hundreds, if not thousands of test/examples with chemical engineers stating that most users won’t benefit from premium oil changes and in short, is a bit wasteful unless you’re tracking your car. Just using the correct oil weight is more important. Most if not all oil comes from the same refineries with added ingredients to the brand selling it to make it their own.

Didn’t think you were suppose to fill up new oil filter with oil.
The benefit is when you start it the oil flows faster through the oil pump and that way you don't have a quarter of a second without oil flow which will wear out your motor in the long run every oil change it all adds up.
it's just one of those subtleties you can do if you think about it.

So you didn’t show all the steps. You went from unscrewing stuff on the bottom of car to pouring oil in the motor. I’m no expert but if you plan on making videos as tutorials give full walk throughs.
I do just the basics I don't get into small subtlety pieces.
If someone doesn't know how to jack up a car or doesn't feel confident they shouldn't fool around with their car.
If they've already been doing it and they do it already they can watch and get the ideals.
I'm more or less do the videos to show how it can be done not really the perfect steps and putting all the pound feet of torque and all the subtlety pieces to me it's too tedious and I'm not a Certified mechanic.
