I thought the Kraken jersey cleverly incorporated elements of the 1917 Seattle Metropolitans jersey while still adhering to the new team's brand and color scheme.

You know, people who do these videos don’t do research on the uniforms or the context. You say the Sabres is like how it is today and you are kinda right, in 2008, they were wearing the Buffaslug uniforms and have been devorced from the old look for nearly a decade at this point after their black era and wouldn’t see it for nearly a decade more after their dark blue era.
The 2010 Flyers as well was very divorced from this uniform since the early 80’s. The popularity of not only the retro Alt they brought back the year before but also this one is what brought it back the year after.
Could Chicago have been more creative for 2015? Yes, 100% but the 2017 one had more redemption and loved the look of that one.
Should have showed more details, like the WC logo on each jersey. The Bruins jersey you said you liked the most isn't shown as more than a tiny thumbnail.
Your taste is horrendous, the Ranger one is bad but the Wild one best of the best???
