Like a damn cinnamon roll Willem? Haha
I think that’s Shakespeare.
I was on the verge of passing out. Best I could do
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeesh
Icon lvl of cindefuckingrella
Roll notes is such a good series man, love seeing Willem's thought process and the video quality and grading is beautiful
Thank you so much! Its my favorite kind of video to make :)
@@WillemVerb you're welcome man! :) keep killing it 🧡
honestly. This series is giving me life!
This place is unreal. Seems like a theme park for film photographers haha. Awesome video!
Right?! Thanks man
the goat himself
GxAce
That lady at the beginning is so nice! She must be an artist or be close to one. So kind to just let you back there with no questions or expectations. Love the shot with the rose petals.
Picture at 2:50 is absolutely unreal. The perfect picture in my opinion. Incredible series man!
By far one of the nicest photos of a rubber duck I've seen in a while.
The picture with the petals in the pool is probably my favorite shot of yours ever.
Ahhh Palm Springs. Good memories. Had a real fun week there one night.
Was it a week or one night?😂
@@Benjaminjohansson93 night that felt like a week. Go to the Morongo, you'll understand.
The perfect blend of inspiration, entertainment and joy. Another great film!!
That triangle house's photos are nuts! Good work man great vid
“Cooking like a cinnamon roll”. That deserves to be on a t-shirt. Great photo session. It’s always great finding new places or areas of scenery. Good content.
I got chills seeing the photos pop up. Incredible colors and composition and overall scenery, just wow!
Those shots of the triangle house are insane
I grew-up in Palm Springs - seeing one of my fav CZcamsrs roaming all these familiar spots is trippy in the best way. You've 110% done Palm Springs justice man
I've seen so many great shots come out of Palm Springs, really a wonderful spot
The light and color are just insane!
Man, I love these! Willem, you have always have the best tones whether it's at night, harsh sun or golden hour. I love how soft your photos are while still 'popping' with colour!
Beautiful work once again, Willem! Always exciting when a new video drops.
Beautiful episode! I keep admiring not only the film works, but the video too. Shot amazingly and I love the colour grading how it matches the overall look of the Willem's photography. Great job!
Flashback to the 60's LA, back when it was still at its height
This video is awesome: the video quality is amazing, the pictures are stunning and the location is beautiful! Thanks for sharing :D
Palm Springs is sooo cool! I think my favorite photo from this episode was the one with the lamp at 8:33 there's just something about it that makes it a really cool scene. It would look cool to have that same composition at different times of day/night
These photos are just stunning, love your work :)
Love this series! Love the way you captured Palm Springs!
your videos have a unique mood! loved it
Palm Spring is one of the most beautiful place to shoot in L.A for sure !
Amazing roll notes episode Willem, thank you
Much love & support from France
Incredible light and great neighbourhood to get lost and take pics. Awesome vid ! The filming is top notch 🔥🔥🔥
As someone who lives in Australia where nearly everything gets demolished and rebuilt every 30 years, Palm Springs honestly looks like something out of a fairytale. Absolutely stunning.
Great video and awesome shots per usual, Willem !
That photo of the house with the mountains in the background and bush in the foreground was DOPE! You were right about the light being good there
Love the one with the rose petals in the pool
The most awaited episode of roll notes! Absolutely love these vids and it’s vibe
:)))
Yaaaaaassss so excited!!!!
No series gets me quite as excited to go out shooting and visit Cali sometimes. The scenes, the quality of the vid, the light, the colors in your photo, I really can’t mannnnn
Ahhh yeah! Here we go again!!!!
I love seeing your videos Willem. You are the reason why I got so interested in film.
Palm Springs is GOATED, and so is this series ✨✨✨
i love everything about this series!
Thank you for showing us these cool places! Amazing photos. Greetings from Croatia
beautiful photos, love the vibrant colours! great work.
absolutely love this series 📺
YES ROLL NOTES ARE FIRE I missed you Willem ❤️🔥 and marti and your framework is beautiful I love the shots
Awesome photos!! And really great video to go along with it. You got a lot of pop with that intense light, but kept the colors very well. Standing in the shadows of the trees and getting the house and distant mountains in a very crisp, clear layer effect...wow. The triangular shadow, the flower petals in the pool. That Avanti, can't pass it up. You are spot on about how it complemented the architecture of the house. Love that image of the palm fronds occupying the majority of the frame. Both the video and stills are the kind of stuff I like to shoot. Hint - it is cooler at sunrise. Might improve your commitment to make the trade, LOL. I can relate, I like to sleep in too.
You’re the reason why I started shooting medium format. Keep up the good work brother! 🙏🏻
EVERY EP OF ROLL NOTES IS BEAUTIFULLY MADE
something about the green and gold tones that's just *chef's kiss* ALSO one thing that was so unintentionally satisfying to me was the footage of Willem's swinging arm holding the camera ( 4:59 ) syncing with the background music like a metronome lol
This man inspires me so much, love your work 💖
Thank you so much!
What a fantastic place… film photographers dream!!
These might be my favorite of Willem’s photos, it’s a cool location
I just bought on Olympus OM-10 and I'm going on vacation to Brittany (I live in France) and I can't wait to use it. My very first film camera!😁
My jaw dropped at 2:45 absolutely stunning work. Also my dad just bought a studebaker and it’s a beautiful/unusual machine!
I only know Palm Springs from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air Episode when Will and Carlton try to get there in a mercedes :D
Loved this episode
Looks like a ghost town. Like the pictures. However don't know what you did exactly in post but those greens are looking phosphorescent, like you took a page out of Vulhandes's book ;)
Ghost towns get run down and dirty. This looks like a theme park 5 minutes before opening.
a gas willem video is exactly what i needed on this mid monday morning
4:40 Willem got that gang mentality
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
Beautiful photos🔥
Palm springs looks sick
This is like the go to relax video after horrible and tireing rainy day
My town! Thank you for this beautiful content
This is my favourite episode so far.
This channel has inspired me to get back into film photography. Dusted off the camera I started photography with, my mom's old Nikon FE, and went and did some basic street photography last weekend in an old small town. Hopefully I'll get good enough to justify buying a medium format.
I just found your channel, and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your passion and your art
Unconditionally in love with your content❤️🔥
The whole classic cars on the driveway in Palm Springs, sure it's a cliché, but who cares, they add so much character and story to the scene in my opinion. They are beautiful pieces of machinery. Couldn't imagine these homes without them to be honest.
“There’s no way you can drive by this and not shoot it”
That G life
Man I think this was my favorite set of all time 🤤😍
Greatness only Willem!
Dope series!!
the processing of the images are way nicer than anything ive see you do yet
Bro the black magic camera footage looks amazing as well as the photos sheesh!
Luv this series mann keep it upp
Beautiful episode. Beautiful photos. Cinnamon Roll Notes. Yummy.
Great work!
whenever i feel uninspired i click on Willem's videos to get a recharge, tbh.
Yay for cinnamon rolls and rose petals in the water ❤️
Stunning
I'll start off with it took me awhile to get into your style... very different from my landscape roots...but I think I understand your groove and wait to see what you come up with next. This series of videos is looking pretty interesting WIllem... keep clickin'!!!!
You're my favorite channel right now.
ROLL NOTES! hell yeah
fire! makes me wanna go back.
Dope video, love being apart of these small journeys
its a good day when willem posts a video
Another amazing video from the goat
the color is so beautiful
Been stuck in quarantine for a week and one more week to go, but seeing these videos makes me ever more desperate to get out and take photos again with my 35mm cameras.
Palm Springs was designed to be a winter resort. So it's better to visit at that time of the year.
And if you like the architecture of the place, I really suggest taking a look at the photos of Julius Shulman. I have two of his books and the quality simply blew my mind!
Great video dope photos keep it up my guy😊
I love mid century modern architecture soo much
just beautiful
I feel like Palm Springs is the pinnacle of aesthetics.
you're such an inspiration to me man
Hi Willem!
Can I answer how do you come up with those soft, dreamy looking images?
Is it because of the film, depth of field, medium format or post processing, it's crazy, no noise, all about softness
I really love that look in all your photos!
Insane work
Cheers!
production value undefeated
needed this rn
Enjoyed the video. Again.
Always magic vids mate
Your shots never fail to amaze me p. Absolutely beautiful! Do you plan to release a foto book? I would love to buy one
streets miss this series king
That second shot with the chair was amazing- the way the light cut the scene in half so organically!!
