Thanks for the comprehensive video. I think you said there was no button in the vehicle to turn on all the interior lights at once. Actually there is a button in the ceiling close to the front of the vehicle that you can press and it turns on all the interior ceiling lights. In other words you'll get the two white lights in the front on and as bright as they can go, as well as the two in the rear ceiling as bright as they can go. I hope that helps.
Note: If you test BMW’s in the feature, there is a way to turn on approaching lights. You have to turn on “unlock when approaching vehicle,” in the lock settings. The vehicle’s exterior lights will come on first when it senses the key, and the doors will unlock automatically when you get close enough to the car. This feature was enabled in your BMW 2 Series video.
Thank you. I suppose that could work only for people who want to use the auto unlock feature. I prefer a dedicated approach light that works independently from the door locks.
6:46 Ah, I’m thrilled to see that you have a vacuum in the back of the car 👍. I’ve seen many car reviews by journalists that film a not entirely clean interior and it just looks disgusting on video. Im
@@MikesCarInfo I don’t doubt you whatsoever but it’s surprising to me that BMW has different taillights for the U.S. and Europe when orange indicators are allowed. Maybe Mexico or Canada still require red rear indicators but that’s just a wild guess. It puzzles me (obviously😁).

@@MikesCarInfo I totally agree. I’m not sure why BMW bundled those together as one feature.
I wish they enabled the matrix system you pay extra on disabled features
the cornering light very useful

Lack of approach lighting is s big miss...a small touch that goes s long way on a luxury car
Please review a BMW x5
3:09 That must be a US localisation. Here in Europe indicators are always orange.
Are orange taillights now allowed in the U.S.? (I’m just curious)
In the USA, red and orange are both allowed. I see both. It is up to the manufacturer.

@@Conservator. Yes, it is very strange. Many people prefer the orange(amber) turn signals here as well.
