My k/d in 2042 was the highest it's ever been for me in a BF. The game was still the least fun I've ever had in a shooter I regrettably bought.
I am excited for the next Battlefield cause I'm a clown and I really believe they cannot possibly f it up any worse than this especially after 2 games are now f'ed up in a row. I like to torture myself by hyping myself for modern games lmao.

They should do a similar HUD to PUBG for easier teamwork. A compass on top of the screen, and different colour squad names so you can distinguish each players ping in the game. That way, making calls in the game is easier and encourages better teamwork instead of just going Rambo.

I'm the player who's been for years, playing a random Battlefield game every couple months for a day or two just waiting and hoping that the next game will be good enough to grind for months on end. Been waiting forever and this may be the end of the franchise so its terrifying.

Im the optimistic type. I had tons of fun on bfv and 2042. And genuinely think that the next battlefield will be better than the two last ones only because they have no choice and I think they have assembled a good team. i started back in 2002 too. 1942 is my best bf, because of nostalgia and ww2 theme. imagine me hearing that bfv will be authentic ww2 experience and then seeing reveal trailer... the worst thing about bfv is , that it has actually very good gameplay mechanics. 2042 is just a bf meme
They listen so much to the community that the most popular topic in the official 2042 forums asking for full progression in portal with untouched settings + with bots, is being ignored
I’m surprised they haven’t done this now that the game is not receiving any further content or really any further support beyond small updates here and there. I wouldn’t be surprised if they wait until just before the next game releases to do it.

Who wants to bet if the next BF will be a live service mess with a battle pass or not? They might even go free to play with a battle pass and micro transactions due to the rise of Delta Force. They want to get players playing older games to come to the new one and buy things from a store front. I think they will shut down the older games because they are not making money. If any of the those statements had an ounce of proof to them they shouldn't be afraid to show snippets of the progress being made be it frostbite upgrades, animations, some environmental art. Remember, they dropped support for both Battlefield 5 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 to focus entirely on Battlefield 2042. Now they're dropping support for it as well and trying to gaslight us into believing they're not going to do the exact same thing with the next Battlefield.

The next BF is literally being spoon fed to them through the community, all EA and Dice have to do is listen. But I doubt their ability to do the bare minimum, look at the results of their surveys
