Innocent people die in the process of hate. The doctor who was killed was working for 36 hours non stop so she could attend to as much as people as possible. It's unfair how life treats people who are kind like that, but this all can be solved if we had a stricter regimen and punishment for the law breakers. The rapist to get death warranty takes 8 years of court cases, the drug peddlars are controlled by the rich and powerful. Doctors are the highest form of respect in our society, they put in so much effort so they can solve our problems. To think this is what happens to doctors inside the hospital itself, also this probably isn't the first case. This is just the first case that the nation is shocked by. At this very moment as we are typing a doctor or a nurse or anyone infact is getting raped. That idea haunts me.

This is the major problem of Uttarakhand.
These people belonging to UP, Haryana, MP, Bihar come here in search of job opportunities and then do these henious crimes.

Stop getting triggered. I wrote the concluding line very clearly. I never blamed all it's just some but for Uttarakhand it is an issue.
Each district which shares the boundary with UP, just look at the crime rates there. Other than this every district has migrant labourers. I m not saying they are not needed here, they are getting work here because those services are needed.
But as far as I have seen UP and Bihar people are mostly related to these kind of crimes related to women. UP, MP and Haryana's are related to land related crimes where they come with shovels and goons and try to aquire property by force, I have seen it by myself. That's why we feel we need land reforms. The criminals from all over India find it very safe as their hideout in Uttarakhand. It's one of the easiest routes to cross an international boundary too. Nepali people are also living here, they too commit crimes mostly after too much alcohol consumption.
People of Uttarakhand too commit crime especially the one case so many people are commenting about. Trust me they are not pahadi people. U have not seen those under confident pahadi guys we live with. They hardly stalk girls. Before the conversation can even start most of it start as dada, bhaiji, etc.
Domestic violence is a big issue in pahadi regions of Uttarakhand and it is nothing to be proud of.
But the statement I made contains heavy amount of truth, so I stand by it.

The presence of these areas often feels unsettling, and several of my female friends have mentioned how uncomfortable they feel due to the intense, shameless stares from the residents of these makeshift colonies. Additionally, most of these temporary homes lack proper sanitation facilities, leading to pollution of our rivers and surrounding areas as these individuals resort to open defecation. It's baffling that no one seems to be addressing this issue.
The increasing Muslim population in Uttarakhand is also becoming a cause for concern. Passing through areas with a growing Muslim presence now feels increasingly uncomfortable. Crime rates and incidents of so-called "love jihad" are on the rise, yet our Chief Minister seems oblivious, ensconced in the luxury of his official bungalow. How is it possible that Muslims are now being recognized as locals in sacred places like Kedarnath and Badrinath? It's alarming to see people from other states posing as pujaris and pandits, soliciting donations without any respect for local customs.
These self-proclaimed pandits lack basic manners, entering people's homes without permission and loudly demanding money. They won't leave until they're paid, and when offered less than 10 rupees, they glare with resentment and disappointment. Surprisingly, these individuals no longer seek traditional donations like grains or oil but insist on receiving cash. The entire situation feels increasingly disturbing, and it raises serious concerns about the future of our state's cultural and social fabric.
