Update On My 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible!

- 7 Months ago, I purchased a dream car of mine! A Mustang GT Convertible! When I got it, it was VERY worn out and unflattering... But now its been re-painted and refreshed! I had a great time doing all of the prep work before painting this car! Hope you enjoy the video!

Robert, by the amount of TLC and willingness to DIY. I can tell you appreciate your car. I strongly encourage you to see what your state fine is for vehicle noise violations are. I installed a K&N exhaust system (muffler, catalytic converter, exhaust) on my 2000 Honda Civic Si. I even researched the allowable exhaust DB rating for 50 state noise compliance. Got pulled over and received a ticket for driving while black...I mean loud exhaust. Contacted K&N for signed documentation of specs as well as passing state vehicle safety/ emissions inspection to include DB documentation to court. Still lost. Fine, court fees, loss of new Exhaust system, cost of new OEM exhaust system. The frustration and hassle is not worth it my friend.
The for the comment man! I do love the car! Those civics get REALLY loud with exaust work lol! Sorry you got pulled over, here in Indiana they’re pretty lenient about loud exhausts especially on older cars.
I dunno, i like that year of stang but living in California with its bonehead emissions requirements I would have to smog that car every freaking two years probably for the rest of its life. Can’t have no fun with it. So here’s my plan. I’ll get an older mustang, probably a 1965, that car is exempt from smog in California and it will pollute more than a 94’ mustang, hope the state legislature likes those apples.

Hey so I had the transmission fluid changed and it stopped the grinding noise completely.
Paint job came out nice. I would lower it a bit. Nice mustang.

Hopefully you’ll still reply since it’s been 2 years now but, I’ve heard one guy complain about wind noise with the top up and windows up. Is that a concern or does he just have a bad top?
I changed the top last summer, I don’t ride with the top or windows up so I really can’t speak much on that. But the rare instances when it’s rained I haven’t noticed it too much.
