    Yesterday we modelled a curtain wall window panel family. Today we are going to put them into a window schedule and create some views as legends.

      Does that mean if I add the Count into the field, will they turn up to many quantity for the same window mark?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  Před 3 lety

      Very likely, maybe only mark one panel in each curtain wall.

      @@BINHE615 You're right! Why haven't I thought of that! I will to apply this logic in the door schedule and see how it goes!

    is there a way to resize a CW without disassembling then reassembling then re creating the elev. view?? very annoying process

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  Před 8 měsíci

      No need to disassemble it; simply use the Tab key to select the curtain wall and make adjustments within the assembly. However, you may need to add mullions and panels to the assembly after adjusting the curtain wall.

    Great work again! Same approach as what i do at work. As for manual key in height and width, is there any other way rather than maunal( quite annoying) I found it could be deadly if one forgot to change! Or if there is ~20ish or more CW to change, there is always mistakes waiting to happen!
    BTW, did you change the curtain panel to window family, thats why it can apperars on window schedule?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  Před 3 lety

      I agree, manually typing in the dimensions is the most annoying part.
      Yes, a curtain panel family can be changed into window or door category.

      YOU CAN TAG ALL CURTAIN WALLS IN PLAN AND MARK THEM THEN YOU CAN MAKE A WLL SCHEDUAL AND FILTERING THE OTHER WALLS THAT NOT BEIN TAGGED

      It’s up to you. You can change a curtain panel to window or door category.

      BIN HE I’m trying to mode a parametric telescope sliding glass door with 4 panels that hides in the wall. It’s quite the challenge... maybe you could help?

    Hi BIN HE how do you put that FG and AW on glass?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  Před 3 lety

      It's a face based generic family with a model text, loaded into the curtain panel family.
      I think I did a video about this quite a while ago...
      I'll do a new video about this shortly.
