We love larynx control hahah makes all the difference! Any amazing singer knows how to switch up easily... also people who are classically and pop/jazz/soul/contemporary trained are good at switching between usually

Definitely not the best vocalists of their age group. Chloe has one of the best lower registers; and Halle one of the best head voices, but individually neither of them are the best of this generation, by a long shot.
@@mesmereized Chloe also has admirable agility and falsetto. Halle has good lows for her voice type and she can belt like crazy. Their Verizon performance demonstrates this. Not to mention the little mermaid soundtrack also showcases Halles vocals wonderfully. And there is really not many people who are 23/24 of age seeing them.
Not only are their vocals FIRE , but their creativity, composition, style, and songwriting is stunning. They are insanely talented.

FINALLY!!! I was waiting for somebody to explain the vocal exellence in Chloe X Halle
They are both incredible and consistently deliver with good technique and CLEAN vocals. I think the reason people sleep on them is because of the type of music they make, it's more indie as opposed to pop/rnb. They don't pump out commercially typical "bops" so I think a lot of people have trouble getting "into" them as fans, beyond just acknowledging that they're amazing singers.
She has the perfect voice for Ariel!!!!
Nobody talks about Halle's belts enough. She uses her head voice (or a very head-y mix voice for her notes) for a lot of her singing to contrast Chloe's very low-larynx singing. It causes this earthy tone mixed with a light-airy tone and its beautiful. HOWEVER, Halle can also mix with lots of chest as well. One time they posted a cut song from Ungodly Hour and Halle belted an F# (which is extremely hard) and another time they posted a swimming video, and Halle belted out an A5 which is some Ariana Grande level stuff!
To everyone mentioning Ariana, that’s fine. But Chloe x Halle are a one two punch, you can watch many performances multiple times because you may not pick up on some of the intricate things one sister is doing until rewatching it.
They are also in my opinion drawing from a much bigger vocal/musical palette than Ariana Grande ever has and ever will. Which makes them much more compelling, interesting, and dynamic performers than Arian Grande.

They are the best vocalists out right now. They are above Ariana when it comes to vocal mastery. They have control over every note (Low to high), can do harmonies out of this world that I’ve never heard before, have consistent vocal control and breath pitch.

I’m sorry but you’re downright delusional. Ariana is literally the vocalist of our generation if not one of the very few. She literally has control over every part including her lower register which extends down to about a D3.
Not only does she have mastery over all of her range which very few singers actually do but she even excels at the whistle register.
Ok but saying that they are "above Ariana" is such an ignorant statement to make, especially when she's a better vocalist than them in many aspects (head voice definitely isn't one of them lol).

Could u make a video about Ungodly Hour's vocals??? This album has so much harmonys, it's dope. Chloe did some great low notes, in te 2° octave and Halle some highs in the 6°.
Right now, their musical direction is so majestic. Imagine if they are soloists and puts their own art out there. That would be great. Them being duo is top tier already.

Been waiting for someone to make a video like this! They are amazing!! When Chloe sings in her head voice, she sounds like an opera singer to me (still so amazing) but she’s hit some really heavenly notes in head voice, supeeerr ethereal. Halle’s head voice always sounds pretty ethereal to me. Definitely wanna hear them sing some traditional R&B ballads, they would murder them!

They both have Beyonce qualities. And they are good technicians. Tho they definitely have room to grow. Their belting registers have some great volume output. Halle really has the potential of being the marvelous vocalist she is set to be. If she just hones her skills a little more. "Ungodly Hour" is a really good album, and they made the right decision by choosing to have an old sort of a late 1990s/early 2000s R&B sound, yet it was really disappointing for me that there wasn't even one power balled on the entire album. They didn't even try. When that era of R&B is known for power ballads, from "When You Believe", "Butterfly", "Reflection", "Emotions" all the way to "Dangerously In Love" that era was known for that, and I just wish they had that on the album. I'm still so very proud of them tho, and I think they have great potential and deserve more exposure.

I like "Wonder what she thinks of me" but I still don't think it qualifies as a power ballad it's still a very mellow sounding track almost like a 1940s Hollywood glam era track. Something that Marlyn Monroe would've sung as opposite to the references I made which were sung by powerhouse vocalist, whom I consider to be similar to Halle and Chloe vocally. As for ballads not being in vogue well 1, the entire genre they chose for the album isn't contemporary anymore. However, ballads are synonymous with the genre they chose and that's why it felt incomplete to me, and 2, ballads still exist within allot of today's artist's repertoire, from the likes of Demi. Ariana, Tori Kelly, Jazmine Sullivan, and many more.
@@taytaybeynippy486 I would consider Don't Make it Harder on Me a ballad. There's nothing mellow about that song. Either way, I prefer for them to stand out and be their unique selves, and if that means they don't sing a lot of ballads, that's how it should be.
I don't think people are sleeping on them anymore! I mean, there are always going to be people who just haven't caught up yet, or people who don't appreciate their style, but these girls have RESPECT throughout the industry, and their fan base is continuing to grow! They are fantastic; BOTH OF THEM!

Thank you for making this video. I watched another CZcamsr video who loves them in Europe. She had her younger relative who’s in the about the same age rage as Halle watch and give her thoughts for they’re song “Baby girl”
She said they were pretty, and can sing well, but their lyrics aren’t anything new and she that their genre of music isn’t for her.
And they have songs ranging from pop, hip-hop, folklore, dance etc...
But yet you have mediocre singers like Taylor Swift.
Who has 1/100th of the vocal abilities of these girls,
And sings the typical cliche pop lyrics, but get tons of recognition, while winning tons of Grammys, and other other awards.
It’s makes me kinda sad to know they’re tons of people of there, that no matter how amazing these girls are, they might never give them a chance.

They’re so well rounded as artists and it hurts how they don’t get the recognition they deserve. They’re trying to reach the pop audience now especially Chloe but honestly they should of tried getting an older audience that would really appreciate their talent instead…’Ungodly Hour’ has been on repeat since it dropped I’m not even kidding.
Only problem with older audiences is that they tend to be very judgemental when it comes to the younger generational. A lot of them may not give them a chance because of their prejudices.
