Powerful sister duo Chloe x Halle went all out on this one. Flanked by personal memorabilia supplied by their mother, the Bailey sisters did their best to make this studio performance really feel like a home concert.
As they volley off each other, swapping lead and harmonies, it's amazing to watch how years of practice and innate genetic chemistry have them synced tighter than a SMPTE timecode. "Baby Girl," the second song here, starts with notes reminiscent of Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)," and is preceded with Chloe sharing "I know this year 2020 has been absolutely bonkers for all of us. For those moments where you kinda feel less than and you're not good enough ... that's why we wrote this song. ... Whatever happens, we'll be OK. And this is our world." Fusing R&B, soul and pop, backed by a talented nine-piece female band, this performance is surely to delight Chloe x Halle's global fanbase.

They should have won a Grammy for this album. The girls are ultra talented. They deserve so much more.
Honestly, they should have gotten one for the kids are alright album. The vocals, coming up with those ethereal songs , writing their own songs, doing their own back up vocals. Still one of my favorite albums to date.

I disagree, I love them whole but I think their live performances fully outshine their recorded music. I hope as they both become their own artists and maybe make more projects together they can learn to maybe leave in more of the “live” vocals we hear in this video. Sometimes their voices get trapped and dampened by production in the recorded versions
The way they BOTH switch between high and low notes so effortlessly and harmonize so well together gets me every time 😍🥰

It’s Criminal that this album won no awards. It was amazing.
They were working like the rent was due during the pandemic, while every other artist was so confused and scrambling regarding what to do what to do, Chloe and Halle were redesigning their tennis court to shoot several stellar performances (and none of them were the same setup or musical arrangements). They deserved all the awards.

I remember a couple years ago when Drop was released and people thought their music was too weird and Bey said to them "Be yourself, the world will catch up" and boy has the world caught up.

Not fast enough. They’ve been snubbed so many times.
Drop is still one of the most beautiful ethereal songs I’ve ever heard. I think ppl weren’t ready to hear the music coming from such young girls. The kids are alright is still one of my favorite albums of all time. I really think it was that adults weren’t ready for kids to sound like that, and kids their age were too young to understand their artistry.

I love Chloe's musicianship, the way she is versatile and plays with her vocal technique, creating new arrangements and melodies and when it comes to Halle, I don't even need to mention, her voice is like crystal, it's so beautiful, light and smooth, singing angelic and together they complement each other.
The fact that every musician in that room is a woman makes me very, very happy and inspires me.
It is so empowering!! Most bands are made up of men. I love seeing all the female representation here.

I just met Halle today in person and recognized her instantly by her beauty. She is so incredibly kind and sweet and truly perfect inside and out. I told her how much I listened to this video (almost daily on my drive home). I can’t wait for them to have another concert so i can truly see this amazing talented person again.
I remember when my dad first showed me their youtube videos when they were young it made me look up to them alot as a singer.
I can’t wait to see her as the newest Ariel. The little mermaid was my favorite Disney Princess as a girl and to have a beautiful woman of color representing her truly is a dream come true.

It’s crazy how people can see her skin tone and say she doesn’t deserve to be Ariel without even hearing her voice? Are you kidding me, she sounds like a mythical princess from underwater, her voice is unreal.
She looks like one too, tbh. Her face is unreal. Ethereal, stunningly beautiful, with a touch of otherworldly magic.
And still isn’t Ariel. If they wanted to make a whole new princess like they’ve been doing lately, she would be perfect.
