Honestly this Discord scam video is the culmination of all my Discord knowledge distilled into a single objective: to troll and take down a Discord scammer. And let me tell you, he didn't know what hit him (and will only figure out after watching this video). I'm going to be honest, I only figured out I could get him banned 5 minutes before I started recording. The stars aligned just so I can ruin this scammer :)
Also subscribe because I'm like 99% sure that I will reveal my trick because it will become a pretty big problem on Discord.

The fact discord hasn't attempted to hire you is crazy. You could easily stop scamming and actually be that one discord employee that is liked.

and sent sensored content that gets detected by auto moderation in discord. and spoof
the discord bot along with the owner of the bot gets banned

heck, the malware that the scammers are using can send requests to discord by using the account token it grabs and could potentially get victims banned by grabbing their token and then sending illegal content to discord on your behalf.

Hopefully more can be done then banning a likely throwaway account, but this is still pretty cool

That batch file was actually a PE in disguise (PE being a good old windows EXE) hence why the garbage when you tried to edit it with notepad. Might be interesting to load it up in Ghidra and statically reverse engineer it, doubt they bothered obfuscating it too much.

That was probably a throwaway for a more radical approach to trying to get discord's attention on a serious issue. Yes it does include collateral damage such at people's computers getting compromised. Note they were just outright calling it a scam and targeting kids alongside making you aware of it.

They got off easy. Banning the Account / Machine / IP is just too lenient.
Should've stepped up and report it to authorities along with the method of obtaining evidence so that proper action could be taken.
The only reason these kind of scams work is that there is little risk involved since no legal action is taken as the person being scammed never notices.
For me, this is another reason to not use Discord.
I did the mistake of creating a Discord Account that got hacked, even though I had a 50 char password.
Called support and asked them to nuke my acc.
