  • Watch this video to learn how to use the wrist support and thumb strap on the ReGrasp Rehabilitation Glove.
The wrist support and thumb strap can be used together. For the purpose of demonstration, we only show one component at a time in the video.
The wrist support is useful for when significant flexor specificity is observed or if the ReGrasp causes too much wrist flexion, when activating hand grasp.
To use the wrist support, loosen the strap on the wrist support. Slide the base of the wrist support into the slot on the garment. Slip the garment on as before and tighten the straps including the wrist support strap if flexion of the end joint of the thumb is desired. The thumb strap that is included allows placement of the small thumb electrode directly on the fleshy ball of the thumb. This is where the thumb flexing tools are located.
To use the thumb strap, remove the thumb electrode and the movable Velcro tab. It's attached from the forearm part of the garment. Now attach the Velcro tab of the thumb electrode to the thick part of the thumb strap, place the electrode at the base of the thumb and attach the thumb strap to the garment. The strap needs to be snug to ensure good contact between the electrode and the skin. If needed the wrist support, and thumb strap can be used together.
