Because she has to be ignorant of that to feel like she has accomplished anything at all. She grew up super wealthy, and is a blogger who got writing gigs because of her family connections. If she doesn’t ignore that, she will feel like a real piece of garbage.
If these people had the tiniest bit of self awareness, they'd see they inadvertently own themselves constantly in their lifelong quest to "own the libs"
