    CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Young Evan (Logan Lerman) stands up to Mr. Miller (Eric Stoltz) when he orders him and Kayleigh (Sarah Widdows) to take off their clothing.
    FILM DESCRIPTION:
Final Destination 2 screenwriters Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber make their directorial debut with the sci-fi thriller The Butterfly Effect. Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher with facial hair) wants to free himself from his disturbing childhood memories. As a kid, he often blacked out for long periods of time and tried to detail his life in a journal. As a young adult, he revisits the journal entries to figure out the truth about his troubled childhood friends Kayleigh (Amy Smart), Lenny (Elden Henson), and Tommy (William Lee Scott). When he discovers he can travel back in time in order to set things right, he tries to save his beloved friends. However, he finds out that relatively minor changes can make major problems for the future. The Butterfly Effect also stars Eric Stoltz, Ethan Suplee, and Melora Walters. The title was inspired by the story A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury.

@@MythicSunsIf you mean how he managed to have the lines performed so effectively, it’s a combination of just, of course, really solid acting (Lerman was one of those actors who was just sharp right out of the gate, even as a child actor), alongside a director actually doing a major part of his/her job, which, believe it or not, a lot don’t. There’s a lot of directors that will just get totally wrapped up in, and so only focus on, things like the visuals/backgrounds/camera angles/appearance of the set, which naturally are highly important as well, but also why you have people like cinematographers, set designers etc and why working with skilled ones is so important. A huge part of what a director is meant to be doing that often goes overlooked, especially these days, is actually DIRECTING the actors, working with them to express and try and get them to feel the emotions the characters are meant to be feeling in the scene, considering motivations, and through all that, helping to pull out the skilled performance they had in them from the start, by channeling it. Wow, I did not intend for this to be so long. No one is going to read this. I apologize for my rambles

    • @hidan407

@@radioactive06 More or less flaws that dont make much sense. He remembers all of the events that happened and when he realized how telling the dad to never touch her again changed it so she was never abused, he could have went back and told the father to never touch EITHER of them and treat them right.
When he got his arms blowm off because of the mail box explosion, and the other guy became a angel for saving someine, he could have went back again snd this time warn the lady but stay the hell away from the mail box.
When his dog got burned alive and he gave the fat kid the shard, why does he still get knocked around with the wooden board even though he KNOWS whats going to happen. Why didnt he just keep the shard to defend himself or grabbed a brick or something to throe at the kids head when they was about to catch up to him?
Also yeah the proving his powers didnt make sense cause im pretty sure a Kid purposely stabbing his hands like that would change his future. Also when he was back, he could have told the teacher about the father being abusive and could have got him arrested or something.
Also I thought no one else can remember the time changes but him.
For me its like in games when you make a save and go through ALOT of bullshit during a quest, but once you realize what you could do better and avoid it, just load it back up and make very different choices to effect the outcome.
