Too bad he scammed a bunch of people then just left the internet. GOOD thing people are REMAKING the figures and selling them to people. Hopefully this one is to be remade.

This looks absolutely insane! I remember when he first shared that he started sculpting the design, and seeing the end result, it was really quick! Everything looks perfect on it, I'm in love with the detail and the paint work.
Not to discredit the other V-Rexes you've shown, but this in my opinion is the best looking one, both sculpt and paint wise
For $300, you get sticky paint, chipped teeth, unpainted areas, and the elastic on the figure snaps once you pose it. Speaking of posing, it's terrible. You are better off waiting for Arctic to sell his 3d model and ask another guy to make joints on the figure as well as painting yourself.
I love the fact they're doing my childhood rexes and can't wait to see the carnosaur figure 🦖

As much as I want one, I can't afford 300 dollars for it. That's really steep for many people.
Andy literally just saved me, I saw an Artic figures V rex for 93 Australian dollars but thanks to Andy I didn’t get scammed.

Wow- that's really cool. I was the sculpting supervisor for the '05 KONG remake at Weta Workshop and sculpted the Bull V-Rex head myself. This one's pretty close to the original and even captures details I thought went unnoticed! :)

They really need to make Disney’s Carnotaurus, it’s never had a proper toy and I can already feel that they would absolutely make it perfect.

I placed my order for this item on 3/15/23 from Artic figures with august delivery. It’s October and I still don’t have anything from Artic figures. They refuse to give eta on figure, call it a small delay (6 weeks). Currently I’m trying to get a refund.
Me too. It’s like artic figures is making good products but provides bad service wtf.
I placed my order around April in the Etsy website and they estimated around may through June but no they didn’t delivered the first batch until 4 months later. Then I had to message them in insta but they ghosted me for 8 days.
I’m pretty fking pissed ngl but hope you get a refund friend

When you do size comparisons you should compare them to other artic figures
You should get the Sh Monsterarts 2005 King Kong. It's pretty expensive in the aftermarket but it looks really good

Wait... I just got a crazy idea 💡! I would so love to see the likes of Artic Figures produce figures of the extinct critters from all three eras… only in their more outdated reconstructions, like for example, Charles Knight’s Laelaps, Zdenek Burian’s Mosasaurus, Dino Crisis 2’s Inostrancevia.
After all, Aulita Heroes did a fantastic job with their retro dinosaurs. Why not Artic Figures or, I dunno, Nanmu? What do you think?
But that’s just me thinking out loud.

Artic Figure is an individual artist not a company which is why his figures are so expensive because they’re all handmade by him

V-Rex was always a fan favorite and major antagonist of King Kong.
I’m getting some playmates 2005 Roaring Bull V-Rex toy vibes from looking at it when looking back at the V-Rex I always admire how is to be a T-Rex until evolution came into nature and turn it into V-Rex we know today the lore of the king Kong 05 I love the color textures between grayish bluish tones, but mostly blue skin colors. I love how crocodilian scales it has which Peter Jackson stated to give it more of a Ray Harryhausen feel to it
I always liked to believe in my own head cannon it evolved from a different dinosaur not a tyrannosaurid because of how it has 3 fingers, even though I’m pretty sure in the official cannon it is a tyrannosaurid

You ever considered doing off-shoots such as the 7 Dinozords from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or the like (mecha or other monsters)?
It looks like they combined the bull skull with the matriarch skull. I'm not keen on that. I also don't like how they've divided the body into segments to make it posable. I would like to see them make a terapusmordax.
