I don’t think Prowly reveals anything that’s true about who he really is. I think he’s a performance artist similar to Andy Kaufman.

Brad Prowly: this guy is a mystery. Many of his videos are well edited showing street performances but with studio sound. He has (or has had) a manager., and didn’t start showing up in videos until he was in his 50s. What did he do before that?
