You can call Evloev v Allen a robbery bc Goddard stopping the fight for those legal knees 100% stopped his momentum to a potential finish, fight was a banger tho
Its a bit annoying because I think without the illegal/legal knee debate Evloev still won 1 and 2 and because of goddards main character syndrome it looks worse for him when he couldve just got up and had the round go as it did and also took away Allen's momentum like you said

Tbh I felt like Strickland won but fighters need to get more finishes if they want to win. Don't ever leave it to the judges. That being said, this was the most boring card I've ever seen. Fight of the Night was Sidey vs Taveras on the prelims.

Dana actually said in the post fight presser (I think, I was driving and I'm sick as fuck so I might be misremembering, plus Dana said it kinda quiet, but I'm pretty sure) that Sean wouldn't be next but that he was pretty sure those guys would fight again at some point
I had DDP 2,3,4 but I can understand a Strickland win. The way I see it DDP made Sean fight scrappy which meant DDP was clearly imposing his will in there and hurting Sean
i dont think the pace was the problem necessarily cuz seans defense was doing its job mostly but he couldn’t add any offense

Strickland vs DDP was as close as it comes. By the end of the fight you could have flipped a coin and given it to either of them. They both really impressed me and put on one of the best main events in recent memory. Strickland ain't going anywhere either. I want to see him take on Chimaev and if he wins get another title shot.
Womans bantamweight is so abysmal and that was easily the worst fight I've seen live personally.
The funniest part of this whole card was at the presser DDP abruptly asks is there actually anyone who thought he lost and then a media person replied back with Dana thought Sean won and Dricus just goes "that's bullshit" lmfao backfired so badly on him. I know people say you have to really beat the champ to be a champion but fights are scored round by round, if they feel somebody edged the round they give it to that person. This idea imo could only really work if they score at the end of the whole fight and then decide if the challenger did enough to “beat the champion”.

I honestly just think the decision went to DDP because Sean’s shots just looked weak as hell. There were multiple times during that fight where I looked at my TV and thought "how did Sean survive that? Nice chin on this guy". Meanwhile after the second round I honestly didn’t care how much Strickland hit DDP, because it was quite obvious that he just wasn’t hitting hard enough to put him out. In other words: Strickland hit DDP more, DDP hit Strickland harder. And I think the judges just valued that a bit more this time around.

i bet on ddp but man i really feel like it was 50/50. yea strickland had many head strikes but those were mostly jabs. dricus landed enough body/legs strikes to account for those imo, & the punch that split open sean also is a big factor in the round it happened in. dricus wasnt on the backfoot the whole fight either, was 50/50 on octagon control. about the takedowns😂, i mean little to no threat on the ground so i understand giving strickland the first 2 rounds due to damage. however 3,4 & 5 were ddp’s rounds. mixed everything up, his cardio withstood ,& he threw in some takedowns to mix up the flow. all around he made strickland fight sort of a sloppy fight that dpp is known for and you have to give him credit for that.
