- A big Thank You to my parents and a friend from switzerland for helping me with the building. Some things are just easier when not alone.
In the next weeks I will take down the tent and move the platform that the tent is on onto the raft. Might take some time.

I always have to think of you when I use a saw! 😟
You are great&smile man🔥🔥🔥👍hugged you bro
This is so fun to watch! I like the longer videos. I'm impressed with the quality of your raft, hopefully it will be as strong and durable as it looks! And thank you for sharing your story.
JOJO absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work. Big Respect to your Dad coming to help!
Weiter so.
Hello my cousin!
Well done... I really like your construction!
Be proud of it and enjoy floating away on your tent on a raft on a lake in sweden (formerly known as tent on an island in sweden)
I‘m always looking forward to see your videos of your adventures!
Rainer
Thanks! Thats high praise from someone who actually knows something about working with wood. 🙂
Rainer, funny as ever😂😂
This is so creative and awesome. I started to build my art studio / library over a year ago. The project stood still for many months because boring. But this spring and summer I found your channel and you really inspired me to continue renovation. So now I am painting the walls! 😄👍
Great! So you chose a color? 😉
@@MyNorthernStory Yep! Dark green. Don't hate me! 😆
Fantastic progress Jojo! Very exciting to see this come together. Loved the first shot of your parents sitting together with you on the raft floating by in the background, very cool!
Alles toll. Toller content. Toller Humor. Nette liebe Menschen. Super Schnitt ... bin ein Fan 👌
Great little intro!
Very nice... Working with parents... Really touching and cute!
Nice teamworking!
I'm exited to seeing you moving the whole tent! 😊
The head is empty... 🤣
Stull not realized yet...
If you put hydrofoil wings on it, you could lift the floats right out of the water when in motion and drastically reduce water drag making your outboard work less hard. But you would have to mount the engine on a transum that could be lowered as the raft raises out of the water on the hydrofoils.
The structure looks very interesting from above at the drone shots - like an art piece :) Great editing by the way!
Love the videos. Keep up the hard work
18:09 with no seats or walls you should consider using that deadman lanyard
Very exciting to see your tentboat take shape! Your mom was adorable when she stepped in front of the camera lol
Reminds me of my parents, they are very supportive too. You did an amazing work putting up this project) and a big hi to your mom and dad ,and happy to see them all come together to cheer you up. Good luck buddy.

WOW, awesome. Right enjoy every moment. Excellent work.
Wow this is absolutely epic . Amazing you’re quite the handy man
Make sure u change the water pump impeller on ur motor specially if it has been sitting for some time. Best to just change it n it is very easy! God Bless
Thanks for the tip! The person I bought it from has changed it recently though.
Nice one... would like to have one like this in Kenyir Lake, Malaysia
Very impressive a fine boat keep up the good work.

It's floating? Don't seem so surprised! 😁
Nice! Cant wait to see you live on that platform, must be fun!!
Great work, Jojo! Really enjoyed the process so far. Keep it up and I hope it all works out!
All the best!
Fantastic u made a perfect ideas n design with ur floating house..excited to watch ur upcoming blogs
Wow, you really made quick work of it. You planned it very well, I would have had to make 100 trips to home depot (I am in the U.S.). Do you worry the wood will rot over time or is it treated?
MyNorthernStory I am making a mobile floating island Micronation in a sillier way.
Except for I am making an aluminum frame coated in liquid rubber so that it doesn't rust in the ocean water. Then framing that aluminum frame around hundreds of 55 gallon barrels.
Then I am putting down pond liner and covering that in compost and soil and grass seeds. And building vegetable gardens - fruit orchards and homes on it.
And I am releasing chickens - rabbits - turkey's - goats - sheep - white tailed deer - minature dwarf cattle - lamas etc to keep the grass mowed and fertilized and to provide meat/milk/eggs/cheese/yogurt etc.
Better not drop anything when you live on that raft. If you do, say bye- bye!! 😀😘
Very lovely to watch you and father create together this dream. Do you intend to tie the floats from under neath somehow? I am concerned they may pop out; do you get big waves that might cause this?
I thought of it, too.
Anyone reading this and considering it: Fill the barrels with Styrofoam, if you spring a leak the barrel will still offer some buoyancy.
BIG LIKE!
I think you should really think about every single screw you put in: What happens, if the wood there really gets wet and soft? Will it still hold?
That is especially problematic when screwing on top of the boards. So your diagonals could maybe fall off in that case.
That's why those metal parts are a good idea, because you screw from the side of the wood where it will stay dry longer.
It's all impregnated wood that's made to get wet.
It's finally materializing before our very eyes.. Yay! That said have you ever though of using this for plastic cleanup of water ways and oceans? You could probably get paid for saving sea life from plastic entanglement and bringing in waste plastic to be properly disposed of.
I still wonder if it will work with all the weight on it.
Mount some canons on the sides in case an enemy raft appears.
Yes, very dangerous waters here in Sweden!
Did you/will you strap the barrels to the frame?
Did you ever thought about sharp front part of the raft?
Good ur funny ;)
I finds es is vo aufaung au scho a schene kantn ;)
I am watching ur vedios from day 1 please 🙏🙏 make mare vedios in a week
Geiles Intro,!!!!!!!!!!
And what do your parents say to all of this?
