Tbh I wouldn’t count most people that were tested by Hoffman. A lot of his tests were because of personal reasons (which we have seen John tell Amanda it shouldn’t be personal) or they’ve been impossible to escape.
Nah #1 should’ve been the blonde girl in Saw II because she got kidnapped by somebody else, but got taken in the game as well with the kidnapper

John's motives were never that about if someone is innocent or not it was always if they appreciated life or if the are wasting their lives, it's just that the people are terrible people are like that because the dont appreciate life
regardless a lot of his tests don't really make sense like how would forcing Zepp to murder an innocent mother and daughter help him appreciate his life more? I mean I know it was meant to motivate Dr Gordon but John didn't need to involve real danger in the game he could have just faked it.
@@spencerreid2086 well the death of Dr Gardens family would have been down to him for not passing his test, the stuff with Zepp was more because John need someone to control the game being the frost big game I not unexpected that things could got wrong which the did, I don't think it was ever made clear what the actual expected results was meant to be
This entire list is questionable. Their are other ppl who were truly innocent that shouldn't have been in a trap like:

Corbett the little girl
Bobby's wife
The old lady and the young man in the hanging trap
Jonas and Laura from the gas house trap( at least they seem to have turned their lives around before they came there)
Sidney
the big guy from the razor wire trap( he needed mental help from depression)
Even the guy in the number trap who only had a candle 🕯️ to help him and his only crime was playing hooky from work?!
Now Kerry, Rigg, And Strahm were in Amanda's and Mark's traps not Jigsaw.
also Zepp literally his only crime before his test was being Jealous of a co-worker.
What about the shotgun carousel? All 6 people were innocent, they were insurance adjusters and they didn’t even have a chance to save themselves
My top 10 favorite saw traps btw this is just my opinion so don't hate people have different opinions:
Number 1: the reverse bear. trap i mean come on its a OG Trap and its my favorite trap.
Number 2: the eye vacuum spoilers for people who have not see it.trap ngl its kinda easy to survive because all you have to do is break 5 fingers from just 1 hand. Or get your eyes sucked out.
Number 3: the motorcycle trap. All you have to do is grab the break handle and you'll be alive. also your legs are tied up and your slowly going down a big thing with big blades spinning all around ya and the break handle is all the way down so good luck if your ever get in the trap.
Number 4: the hold your breath trap. I forgot the name of the trap so. All you have to do is not breath and your good. Also your with someone else so they could be a smoker so yea also the way to win is to hold your breath until the other one dies from holding and breathing and get grushed to death so if you ever get into that trap lets hope your good at holding breath and not a smoker so.
Number 5: the car trap. In saw 3D theres a saw trap where he has like super glue on his back and under the car is his girlfriend and before the car is i think his friend and has chains on his jaw and both arms. And in front of the car is another i think friend who is tied up. And the way to survive this is to pull the lever so his girlfriend and 2 friends i think die. And the lever is im front of him but is a little far so remember he has like super glue on his back so that means he has lean front while he has super glue on hes back so.
Number 6: the steam maze trap:
So this dude named William has to save this girl through this you guessed it a steam maze and he has to have the steam to burn him so the girl can make it out alive also she has something on her that needs a key and the key is inside William and sge tryed to cut in out of willam but the timer runned out and she died.
Number 7: the brain surgery trap spoiles cuz this is from the new movie saw x so. So you need to cut off a back peace of your head and you have to make sure its deep enough to your skull or you'll die.
Number 8: the lazer trap. So your in a room with someone else and theres buttons and if you click your button then you have to tell the truth or the lazer will kill ya also you have like a necklace thing that has the Lazers in it.
Number 9: the battle trap. So theres 2 people on with there arms tied up with chains and the other trying to get the chains off and get the lock off him so he survivs and theres a machine where it will grush battles and fly them at the dude tied up.
Number 10: the final favorite trap its the bathroom trap. Look i know its the fisrt ever tral we see but literally all you have to do is sit around and try to find the keys for the chains your leg on in or cut your leg off thats literally all if i forgot about anything about the traps than reply to me thats all byeee.
