Honestly, Ellie did get revenge on Abby for Joel's death.
She may not be dead, but she must live with the pain of losing Jordan, Leah, Whitney, Nora, Manny, Owen, Mel and Yara for the rest of her life. Most of those people died as a direct result of her revenge on Joel.
All Abby has left is Lev and the fractured Fireflies, and maybe one day she can find peace. But living with the guilt and the pain of losing all your closest friends because of your own actions is arguably worse than death.

Same here bro, i Hated her first and was absolutely frustrated when had to play as her. But as i saw her side of the stroy i fell in love with her character. I’d rather play as abby than ellie.

Abby is such a great character. I can’t wait to see what they do with her story in season 2 of the show and hope people realize she wasn’t a monster that a lot of people that played part 2 make her out to be

Literally the best character in the sequel, her growth and journey from a numb killer to someone who moved past her trauma from love and seeing the other was amazing to see. She deserves better.

Abby lost a way more than Ellie. I liked Abby at the end, I can understand her and the way she feels. She was just searching for peace after her fathers death and lost everything. how can people not care about what she`s been through? I mean i can understand Ellie too, but Abby doesnt deserve all the hate. I really hope we will see her again, maybe in last of us 3 :)

Finally, someone who understands that
Abby couldn't cope with the loss of her father and thought killing Joel would fix it, but the only thing that fixed her was saving Yara and Lev. Ellie thought killing Abby would fix her but it made it worse, then she tried again and stopped herself from going too far saving what little bit of compassion she has left. Now Ellie is alone, but she left some room for hope when she spared Abby and Lev. Killing someone else's family won't fix the hurt you feel from losing yours.

At the first time, I hated Abby. Maybe all peoples who played TLoU2 same feeling. But at the end, I am so loved her. And I felt manythings from Abby's story. And felt her struggle, pain, hurt...
I think Abby is lost many things more than Ellie. But most peoples say “I hate Abby!” “I wanted kill Abby!” when I hear those words like that, I feel bit disappointed and so sad. Because I think they don't know this awesome story.
Ellie lost Joel, also Abby lost her father...She did payback, but her struggle is never end up...

People who hate Abby but loves Negan from the walking dead is just baffling. Both did horrible things for revenge, regretted their actions and changed for the better but Abby is hated, just because she's a woman.
The same people who hate Ellie for seemingly forgiving and not killing Abby are the same people who hate Maggie for not forgiving Negan who brutally killed his husband and friend Infront of her.
People are even using the "If this story started with Negan, then Rick and his group would be the villain." Like it doesn't apply to Abby.
Abby is an amazing character and it sucks even the voice actor got death threats over a game.

You don't have any idea how amazed and happy I'm feeling right now reading the comments over here, I love Abby so fucking much, her story, her past, her present, I really love her so much until the end, I remember watching the video game by CZcams and her fight with Allie and I was literally screaming rooting Abby up, I don't like Allie at all, she is horrible, but with Abby it was the opposite feeling, I remember after watching it I headed to watch some videos on youtube and all I found was hate to Abby, but for me Abby always was right and Allie deserved to die but I'm so glad there are people who really like Abby, thanks for your video 🥰

In tlou2 i prefear more abby than ellie cause is litteraly more human while i don't recognise anymore the ellie i always loved. I don't get how so many people hate abby just cause she killed joel (first charachter which isn't rarely tgat happens) without thinking about how she becamed especially with lev or how she left ellie alive twice even if she killed her friends or love , these people are just child and not just in age. She’s not more human than Ellie dude killing people doesn’t affect her she’s just like Joel. Ellie gets affected by killing people that hurted her a couple of time during the game but Abby killed her wlf freinds to save Lev that she knew for years like it’s nothing. Abby spared Ellie because of Owen (he was ready to fight Jordan for Ellie to live) and the second time because of Lev, Ellie saved her and spared her by her own. Why is it okay for Abby to kill Joel after he saved and helped her but it’s not okay for Ellie to kill Abby because she spared her? I don’t understand when people say Abby is more human when she clearly did more bad things than Ellie. I agree with you about the hate
I can really relate when you said you don't recognise Ellie in TLOU2, I thought it was a really drastic change when you compare TLOU2 Ellie to the original game's Ellie.

Loyalty is what got both Ellie's and Abby's friends/family killed. For the main part of the game they're insane, because that's what happens when you lose someone you love unconditionally to murder. For example, Owen and Jesse were both going to start families but the consequences of Ellie's and Abby's actions caught up to them. Loyalty can be a good quality and/or a bad quality.

I honestly only wanted to see Abbey get murdered by Ellie at the start when you play with Abbey. Half way through, I did not wanted to move forward with the story because I did not wanted for the two to cross paths again… Abbey what a character!
I prefer her over Ellie now. I somewhat would love to see Abbie back in the 3rd one but I feel that would defeat the ending I guess.
