Holley is actually awesome, once you're used to it, it's actually super simple. It's also super cheap which is nice.
I've been considering getting a Holley for my GTO. I want to be able to tune my car myself and I hear it's a lot easier to use compared to HP tuners. It's about the same price as getting setup with HP tuners program/dongle, credits, and a dedicated laptop.
@@ziptiejedi5658 WAYYYYYY easier than HP Tuners, HP Tuners may actually be quite a bit more capable, but you have to be pretty advanced to use it. IMO Holley is one of if not the best entry level ECU.
We have gone 8.40s with just a Holley HP.

It'll be fine at that power, a couple guys in texas have made over 1000 consistanly with gen 3 internals.
Problem is that early in the rpm range
They probably are very careful with an electronic wastegate to limit boost downstairs and then go for the gold up top for those hero numbers.
Cannot wait for the C10 to make a rip.
SHARP. Thats a pretty nice, cruiser that even older guys could drive. The nod to the WW2 planes will always be classic and RESPECTFUL, even if that wasnt your plan.

Just have to say it, putting twin turbos on a stock bottom end is like putting a built motor in a car without upgrading the brakes first. You are asking for it, good luck!

My guess of 518 was way too low, also. Curious about the tuning done before the dyno runs.
Same. With the right cam and longtubes you can put down 400whp on a stock n/a ls1

Just limit the boost in low rpm if you can, or pull even more timing at peak torque, might keep em' alive for a bit.

I was chuckling to myself when I heard the 42x horsepower prediction but I have to say it was 75 more than I thought. Definitely need to tame the tune otherwise Rodney is going to come knocking or rocking his way out the block. I definitely think the exhaust exiting out the fenders would be bad asx

Need a big single or bigger twins if you wanna make less torque down low. A more aggressive cam will help with that too
Hopefully he got a short runner metal intake to kill some of that low end tq and maybe an electronic wastegate so he can dial back that power downstairs to keep the insides in that LS1 if he likes it and let it go wild upstairs where it's not as likely to puke. Cool car, I sure hope you get back on the channel I really like you Wyatt you're a legend.

Those power shows normally give extra HP to get costumers. Say what you want about the shop. But it's just the game. I remember Cletus went to super Chevy got kicked off the track so he went to Dyno competition. Right after getting Dyno'd in Florida at 850hp in vagas he had over 1200 at higher elevation? Y'all guessing 400 get over 600 that's about the same percentage difference.

Careful trying to pull timing intending on pulling power. Those little turbos will probably make more boost the more timing you yank, maybe detrimental but one way to find out.
You just have to make bigger changes. Pull 15 degrees instead of 5 or 6.
You can get normal hood hinge kits that bolt straight onto these

Turbos are restricting flow at higher rpms, which is why you have a high torque number
