We ate there just two weeks ago - if memory serves, we ordered from the Tapas, Chix, pizza, and What the Duck. Everything was delicious! (Though my son’s favorite was the ice cream cone covered in candy floss.)
Also, just wanted to say a quick thanks for all you do - the knowledge and tips from your videos were an incredible help for our Edinburgh holiday. Cheers from the States!
Looks fun, Tony! You and Gordon are a good team
I agree...kind of mall food court vibe...but a step above. Good selection of food and not to out of line on prices. I like the order from the table concept for sure. Thanks Tony
Never tried this place before, definitely will now!
Took your recommendation and took my friend and grandson for our dinner. It was fabulous so glad I watch your videos
I love learning about the new things/areas! Thanks for sharing! I appreciate your humor!
Hi Gordon, you were great! Thanks Tony for this, especially your strategy for ordering.
Come on, Tony, Gordon is great, but you're the greatest ! ❤
I know we say this so very very often, but the portions are so small in the UK compared to the portions we receive (for the same price) in the USA. We have the same type of places, usually inside the malls. I like the fact that this one is outside/inside. It gives such a choice. I also like the smaller portions because I don't want to overeat, it's just that if I can get literally 2x the amount for the same price, I sort of feel that I'm paying too much when it's 1/2 the portion. Then again, it's Edinburgh; not the outskirts. GREAT video, as always. HI GORDON!! Nice to see you again.
A food court, before malls fell out of fashion.
Thanks for doing this, Tony! It was great seeing it after reading about it.
I may have to take my boys there. Good for three boys with all different tastes. Next year! Can't wait ❤
Hoping to visit Edinburgh later this year so will look out for this. Thank you Tony and Gordon
We went there today, awesome place Tony! We got some bao buns and they were delicious!
My kind of place i never even knew this place even existed. Sounds like the kind of place where you try foods from different parts of the world i would never be able to visit. I've always been weary of Korean food to me their foods might be a bit to spicy for me i don't like spicy food. The peruvian dish Gordon had looked delicious and the Corbonara looked delicious. I will definitely be goung there. What i liked was that there were three ways you can order your food and drink from the bar, online and from the QR code at the table and you can order from different places. Thank you for reviewing this place.🎉
Can't wait to give this a go in a couple of weeks
That is a cool eatery! I now know that Peruvian food is a thing.
Och, Tony, glad to hear that your ego isn't put out by sharing some screentime with good old Gordon!
I am looking forward to going to this place on my return; I've already placed it on my itinerary. Homie's Pizza (also in the Waverley Center) looks to be a reasonable and tasty choice, but I do enjoy having a selection available. Good to learn that the smartphone ordering is a better way to go. Cheers, mate!
Looks pretty cool quite an innovative idea
Looks great I'll have to give it a go next time I'm in
1:29 I know that parking lot!
Didn't realise this was here. Will need to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation and great video as always Tony! :)
Another very good video Tony and gordon great team 😂
Love your videos, but would like you to show things slower so we can see menu items and their prices. I personally like just you in the videos as you are enough 😊
Great job, Tony, as always. My wife and I will be in Edinburgh in July and have been watching all your videos in preparation. I've seen so many that I've started recognizing streets and shops from previous videos. Thanks to you, we shouldn't have any trouble navigating Edinburgh while we're there.
Here's a request: do an Edinburgh mens barbershop tour. Due to flight restrictions, I don't pack a razor when I travel, so I always make it a point to drop by a barbershop to get at least one haircut and usually several shaves when I travel. It's a great way to soak up some local vibes. I realize you probably haven't had to get a hair cut in a while but someone's trimming that good looking beard of yours, right? (shameless flattery)
Keep up the good work. I'll keep an eye out for you while we're there.
Can't wait to try this. Coming to Edinburgh in July. Will the tram extension be open?
Tony, absolutely loved this video. You and Gordon were a great combo. Thanks for the info on the Edinburgh street food market.
Do us a favor and show a man living on a rain day. Reality is important too, and seeing you deal with it matters.
Hi Tony I always look forward to Saturday mornings to trail along with you in the beautiful city of Edinburgh to see what adventures you takes us you never disappoint.I liked when you said Gordon was your date.Iam sure when Kirsten saw that she must of really laughed.
What the duck is you talking about
Did you ever find out what “Choose Your Future” was all about?
Nope.
Looks fun! I’m vegan like your lady. Has she had any weird cravings? I remember eating about 3 avocados a day for about a week while with child.
Street food in Canada?🇨🇦too often it would be “do you want snow balls with that?!”❄️❄️❄️
Which is ironic because Edinburgh is quite far north. If you were to put Edinburgh in Canada it would be at the about the same latitude as the Belcher Islands in Hudson Bay, part if which is inhabited by Inuit!
@@h-Qalziel the gulf stream by passes Canada and heads to Scotland with its warmth.🇨🇦🏴
Looks kind of dark there
Way too pricey for the size of the portions
Street food inside? A street has a new definition in the 21st century. Wtf.
I didn't name the place.
Yeah, this looks like any typical food court inside a shopping mall, right? Go to the Philippines and compare this to what the term “Street food” is really meant to be…
The food is good with good atmosphere but agree with your points.
Ok, so this is where a western culture attempt to replicate an Asian phenomenon, right? Go to the Philippines, or any other Asian street food location, and you’ll see what real street food looks like, and how it’s presented. This is not street food. This is more like a food court. Pizza? Carbonara? Married to a Filipino as I am, watching the disappointment on her face as we watched was painful…
I can understand what you mean. Food wise it is fairly standard choices, but is easy and quick to eat from.
Technically street food started in Greece, Egypt, and Italy. It was then transported to Asia through migration. So it is not exactly a western attempt at an asian phenomenon. This, however, is merely an incorrectly named food court. That does not mean that there isn't proper street food in Edinburgh, there definitely is, especially around the time of the Edinburgh Festival with food and people from all around the world.
@@h-Qalziel I agree. I’ve seen street food sold around the grass market. A small handful here and there. The Asians though, take this to another level.
Hi, can you order without the QR code and talk to human? I can't stand it
Yes you can order via the waiting staff or at the stalls themselves.
Aye but what about Greggs?🍰🧁🥧🍮
