Well, it certainly seems better than the last. Honestly, it's not that bad of a price. Staining is also a problem many other people seem to have, so your only option is a black upper lol.
I have 2 pairs of the Weekend because I bought a pair that turned out to be defective and they sent me a new one in whatever color I chose which included colors that were no longer available to buy. Very cool of them. I am annoyed by the staining because yes, I agree with you. It feels like something waterproof should be stainproof too. I guess I just don’t actually understand how the shoes work. It asi annoys me that even with washing not all stains go away. Maybe it’s just me forgetting, but I’m pretty sure my laces do affect the tightness of my shoe if I tighten then starting at the toe. But I agree that the sizing can be annoying. I probably need an 8.5 but alas, I shall forever have slightly too loose Vessis. Still overall I really love these shoes because I hate wet socks and they definitely prevent that. My family is jealous sometimes lol Plus the seasonal colors can be so nice!
Sorry to the classic didn't work for you, they have been great for me, I just ordered my second pair after 3 years of everyday work use at a job where I am on my feet most of the day. What set them apart for me was that they fit my wide foot like no other shoes before. Other brands I had to have them stretched which didn't really help much. Vessi's fit my feet perfectly out of the box so they got my repeat purchase. Oh, let me mention that they are VERY light, they weigh almost nothing. ( I was not paid to say this I just like them a lot. )
I personally wore them all last summer and I will be going to Arizona with them in a couple weeks. Every now and then my feet feel a bit warm but I almost never notice that as an issue.

Vessis are trash. They're a marketing company that ticks off a bunch of boxes on paper, but can't execute in manufacturing/user experience. I thought they would improve by now. But if anything, it seems like they've doubled down on marketing instead of QC Age of the internet....
I dont know for sure because I have never wore or tried them. That said one of my friends wears these and he loves them. For context , he works a office jobs and keeps his professional leather shoes in his office. All he needs then are a pair of sneakers to get him to and away from work. For that, the water proofing is great, especially where it rains a lot, and the pricepoint is not very high. Just curious, what are your gripes with them?
@@qwertyutopia4667 have had 3 pairs in my house 2/3 disintegrated in about a year. The third pair don't fit great and are hardly used. I'm glad they're working out for your friend, but I haven't had the same experience
@@xxxxyyyxxxx584 ahh i see. It could just be use though. I mean his use is just to drive to the train station, get on a train, get off train and walk to work and then the reverse back ( in NY). So maybe it’s the fact that he barely walks at all and it’s all on paved roads or concrete floors.
