I love how Dark Universe looks similar to the layout of the actual set used for Frankenstein at the Universal Backlot.
I love how Alicia says on her official updates, “Perhaps this could be the official name for this projected retail location.” And on podcasts she’d be all giddy and bubbling, “It’s definitely that!, I’m pretty sure it’s that!, I found it on the permit at 3:02am last Tuesday, and right there it is!”

following the land's construction has been a real treat this past year
Epic Universe is going to absolutely blow every other park out of the water. Right now when you think about immaculately themed lands that truly take you to a different place, the list is pretty short. I can think of 5 the United States that make the cut - Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida, Hogsmeade in Universal's Islands of Adventure, Super Mario World at Universal Studios Hollywood, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios and Disneyland, and Pandora at Animal Kingdom. Notably this is 1 ultra-themed land per park. At Epic Universe we’ll have 5 lands in 1 park with top tier theming. Words cannot express how excited I am!
Their theming is good, but IoA and USO both felt rather challenged in terms of upkeep on many if the rides. Veloci oaster was worth it, not much else in terms of rides. The prices have gone crazy.
6, Cars Land should be included on that list.
@@bb5242hulk, spiderman, forbidden journey, hagrid are fire too. Dr suess land and toon lagoon are in need of big updates/rethemes. River adventure needs to be updated, and biggest rumor going around rn is that zelda will replace lost continent, so im pretty excited for the future.
@@bb5242 IOA is consistently ranked as the #1 Theme Park in the world year after year. It get its title for a reason, and not just its theming.
That's fair. California Adventure can join the 6-way tie for 2nd place with 1 top tier themed land.
Seeing all of the rockwork theming and stuff near all of the restaurants and hotel really brings forth just how fast the development is going. Summer 2025 can't come soon enough!

I think this will be the first new theme park being built where I'm excited for every land! It all looks so good! I can't wait to see what Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe and the Wizarding World: Ministry of Magic will officially look like!
And we already got a digital fly by of Isle of Berk so I think this will be a park in good hands!
I'm seemingly the only one who's not particularly interested in Super Nintendo World. I just don't get behind it nearly as much as the other 3 lands, and while I'll definitely have fun with it, I think it will be my least favorite by far. It's also the only cloned land, so it's Universal not at their best
Curse of the werewolf ride sounds awesome! They’ve really gone all out and made sure to create worlds that have quality rides and attractions. Even if some worlds seem more interesting than others, you can’t help but want to see how they all tie together the more you hear about each of them

Epic Universe is going to blow Disney World out of the water because Universal is taking this to a whole new level of entertainment and family vacations in Florida. I love to see theme park companies always bring something new to their guests to have an amazing experience in their theme parks.

The last month or so construction has really started to fly which is fantastic news. It really seems like they're connecting the pieces of the puzzle now.

One thing I found out about what category of resort Terra Luna and Stella Nova will be is they'll be in the Prime Value, same as Cabana Bay. So that's good to know. I was always wondering which category they be in since it's pretty obvious the Helios will either be Premiered or Preferred.
I know a lot of work has been done, but I do wonder if Epic will be ready by Summer 2025. I'd rather they get everything right though before opening and it's obvious they are making sure things are going to be safe.

Are the restrooms in Dark Universe going to be haunted?
I always look forward to these uploads, really exciting how the pace of things is quickening as scaffolding is coming down, more things are being painted, and what was once a vast swath of dirt is breaking up into smaller islands of dirt and ultimately disappear entirely. It seems that they're trying to finish most of the outdoor work before the brutal Florida summer really hits, and workers begin the interior work.
It's been a fun multi-year ride watching the development of Epic Universe, but I am curious how this channel is going to with the updates at the later half of this year in between when the park looks "complete" from the outside, and up until opening day. The vast majority of work will have shifted indoors by then where unfortunately we can't see into from aerial drone filming. Watching these videos are really fun but also have spoiled me to a lot of what to expect from it. Those interior areas I mentioned earlier, the silver lining is that I'm going to let that surprise me, gotta leave some element of surprise and wonder!
i miss the days when i was a kid and could actually go to a theme park without knowing whether anything new had been added.

This is shaping up to be the coolest theme park of all time
The behind the scenes construction is so cool. It is all ofc modern concrete and structural steel but the magic happens when the facades are put on. The illusion is created when the artists get to start working on the canvas that the heavy construction team members put down.

Everything looks amazing so far!! I'm especially excited for the Ministry of Magic ride... not only is that one of my favorite scenes from the movie franchise, but the ride style sounds similar-ish to Escape from Gringott's which is my favorite ride EVER let alone for the Harry Potter worlds. This video is great! I'm amazed by the level of detail in all your information, and I'm curious to see how many of your predictions end up being right!
