I think some parts they are not Discontinued in the American continent. Probably only discontinied in the USA. In Mexico, Canada and some parts of South America you can find it for the SiR. In Canada the USDM EX is badged as Si.
Why did I hear Christina Aguilera when you said "dirty"? 🤣 The way Super Clean clings is amazing and it's not a light coating either. I knew those were kitchen gloves but they look too good to use. Definitely looking forward to the engine series and all work done to it.

Might want to consider a brass bristles brushes that come in small and medium sizes at advance auto parts. Or, a 'tapered' brush to clean those difficult areas around the engine.
use a soft metal brush, you can use a fine sand paper to remove the old stuff on pipe. make sure you replace the plastic ring when putting back the pipe to the thermostat. Metal brush would help you remove all residue.
I have always used Simple green in the spray bottle but the foaming spray Super clean seems to be a must have when cleaning. Wow Queen BRZ, you sure got a lot of OEM parts for the civic- Nice

@@JDMCrystal That’s really not bad. When you think of how much a new car cost. And you’re getting the car you want and beautiful as hell for 8K. I have a 2000 civic EX hopefully mine will be as pretty as yours One day. It used to be really nice and then I bought a new truck and neglected it for a few years I recently just started fixing it up. I’ll post a video on my CZcams account if you want to check it out. See some of the progress I’ve done.

Good thing to check on the timing belt tensioner is the spring sometimes the replacements are very weak I had to reuse and old one once.

Super clean is good stuff, Ive used just the regular spray, that foam spray seems like a good product to try
