World's TALLEST Water Slide POV | Vertigo at Meryal Waterpark Qatar

- Take a ride on the Vertigo water slide at Meryal Water Park (Qetaifan Island North) in Lusail near Doha, Qatar. The trapdoor body slide is part of the ICON TOWER which is the tallest water slide complex in the world. Vertigo descends from the very top platform of the tower and is only accessible through an elevator - guests are not allowed to use the stairs. Along with the Fractionator slide right next to it, Vertigo is the record holder for the world's tallest water slide - both slides are a whopping 250ft tall. Due to the insane height of the slide, the ride is extremely long and fast which is definitely not for everyone. We highly recommend using a back protector which is not mandatory, however, the slide is pretty rough otherwise.
Type: FlatlineLoop

Most anticipated videos of the year start now 😁
The designers of the Vertigo waterslide have learned from the incident at verruckt in 2016...
They should've hired ProSlide. Then it would've been smoother.
Also, fun fact: This slide is the same height as the slide on the AccelorMittal Orbit in London's Olympic Park. And the design also seems similar, with all the banked turns. Except that one's a bagslide rather than a water slide.
That slide was fun.
I absolutely agree because Proslide makes quite some smooth slides!
The slide was smooth enough and WW did an excellent job with all the slides at meryal park! Don’t forget that this is one of the kind slides and people had to work in extreme weather conditions!
@@MrGreedable Well I think WW west has good slides too and I absolutely agree, i’m impressed how they push through it to work on a waterslide
Good thing they added back protectors. I can’t imagine going down a rough slide that’s this long. But it’s ashame they have to it takes away from the whole body slide experience. However it makes sense bc I bet a slide this tall and long is a pain to maintain so it’s probably easier and cheaper to do it this way
It's definetely harder to maintain compared to a shorter slide, however, the slide opened just a few months ago so I'd assume it was pretty rough from the beginning which has nothing to do with a lack of maintainance
@@tuberides.official yup, whitewaters body slides usually are either glass smooth or rough as hell no in between😂
Glad you had a good time at the most TALLEST waterslide tower
This looks like the most amazing slide EVER
😳 wow!
yesss i’ve been waiting for this
Yo it’s supa cool
Cool 😎 . Das kommt einem ja ewig vor
Wow
That looked INSANE 😂❤
Why is the video sped up?!
How does it look so incredibly fast in the POV but in the Offride shots at 1:37 rather embarrassingly slow?!
Aaalter was ein geiles Teil!!!

Luca is back 🤩
Holy shit this thing looks insane... Even a slide lover like me is a bit intimidated by it.
It‘s mental. It‘s the first slide ever that really made me feel claustrophobic because it‘s so long.
Man kennts 😅
Finally the world's tallest water slide that won't decapitate me
My left ear enjoyed this video
This slide actually looks insane. Looks like it’s really intense too which is a contrary to other flatline loops by whitewater but I rly wanna get on this one.
Yes, by far the most intense FlatlineLoop so far. Probably the most intense trapdoor slide we've tried
38 seconds to the bottom ...wow 😯
Hi there I am from Qatar and I went that slides its so fun fast and smooth
Quick question, where did you get the 76.35 meter height figure from?
This is unreal.
Nee die ist schon wirklich so schnell :)
New #1 bucket list slide
I must ask though, which is more painful, this or the wolf tail at great wolf lodge in Arizona? (I just rode that so its fresh in my mind what it felt like)
Wolf Tail certainly is more painful
@@tuberides.official Ok that's good. I was able to bear the pain for 4 rides, so this would not be as bad as I have experienced
This freakin death trap
How long does it take to get to the bottom from the top of the slide?
38 seconds
Do the back protectors slow you down or make you go faster?
It feels a lot faster using a back protector
@@tuberides.official oh cool
@@tuberides.officialthe POVs look different too back protector looks faster
When did this water slide open? I ask because for years, I've been told that the tallest slide in the world was Kilimanjaro in Brazil.
It was opened in 2023
What speeds do you reach?
probably around 30-50 mph depending on how intense a waterslide is meant to be
Has a Guiness book?
First
Video is sped up?
No
@@tuberides.officialit definitely is because the movements and sound goes faster
@@samm4192 🤦♂️
It’s taller than Hyperia at Thorpe park 😂😂😂
76m? Really? Wtf
That looks like something out of Fortnite lmao
OFFICIALLY, isn’t the tallest waterslide still Kilimanjaro according to Guinness world records?
Well the one at cococay is also the tallest but currently there is lots like the trapdoor free falls in the dreamworks waterpark
Don't know if it has been updated yet but it really doesn't matter since this ride is definetely taller.
@@SlidinLoop The tallest slide in North America is not the tallest in the world.
@@SlidinLoop The one at cococay is smaller, so are the ones at Dreamworks
@@tuberides.official I see, is this slide worth riding? Plus, which do you think is the better of the two, this one or Fractionator?
