Hello, regarding Boox Palma, personally, I have a bit different vision on it. It may be great for those, who want to read on a small screen (replace phone screen with e-ink) for example before bed or in public transport where space may be an issue (or in similar conditions).

I just watched Jeffrey Moss's video walk thru on the Bigme S6+ Lite and he went over the Global Handwriting feature and how the highlighter works correctly. The Bigme Interface looks so similar to the Boox interface. Do you see Boox having an update to include these better features and ways to annotate books in any app (the way global handwriting works)? My box device suddenly feels lacking...

Eink benefit for reading is huge, for me as a glasses wearing older dude. But I read much more than 5 books per year.

After watching all your in-depth reviews I think the "perfect" device for me would be a Note Air 3 C MINI... Do you ever see Boox making such a device?
Thanks for all the great in-depth reviews.

Just some info to add on reMarkable’s archive feature: it actually does show on the device which documents you’ve selected to archive. They are greyed out and have a cloud symbol in the corner. I’ve set up an Archive file on my rM2 and keep archived versions of my digital notebook and journals in there. Then, when I need a new one, I un-archive it, duplicate and move it to my desired folder.

Which e-paper device you'd recommend for managing headers and building summary of the hand written notes? I'm looking for a device to be able to write down quick notes for myself at work, sometimes during the project meetings etc. I see it like I'd have a single file for each project and within that I'd be able to put one or two layers of headers and then be able to access them by summary or table of content. Tagging each note with the date taken would be a bonus. Supernote devices look to be suitable for that, but what else?

Any timeframe for when you are publishing the Libra color review? Hoping for a comparison between the old BW, and the new color display, especially. Heard a lot of talk how it's a downgrade unless you use it for color reading. If you are in contact with Kobo could you ask them, about whether there will be a BW version of the new Libra.

I bought the RM2 for its writing experience only as part of my job. I've used it 5-10 hours a day, 6 days a week for 3+ years now. I've gone through 3 pens and countless nibs. After all that, mine is starting to get buggy and I might need a replacement. I dont mind the software sucking, I dont mind it being bad at everything PDF related, poor company support. None of that matters to me. All I care about is the writing for my work. (I also love the calligraphy pen). What device on the market has as good or a superior writing experience from the pen to the latency to the proper friction between nib and screen? Nothing else matters to me. Price is no issue.

Hi Voja, thanks for all your videos. Got a Boox Note Air 3 recently. Before updating its firmware, I was able to do OCR on a scanned pdf 1 page at a time up to 5 times a day. After updating to firmware 3.5.1, I’m now stuck with the dialog box saying (Loading…) below Page count 1/300 field. It just stayed at Loading no matter how long I waited and the OK button is greyed out. Have you encountered this issue? Is there a solution? Thank you.

Hi, looking for advice on the best ereader for both Kindle and PDF (scanned pages so images, not text) books. I don’t care about writing at all, but need good results with both use cases. I'm interested in a minimum 10 inch screen. Color is a plus but not strictly required. I think Boox is the best, but don’t know for sure.

Have you ever used or tested any of the titanium replacement nibs? Curious as to how they perform and whether cost effective alternative to standard nibs

Do you have a kind of calibration chart to set up the colours on NA 3C ? Or a workflow, a sequence to set up the ideal colours ?
I keep adjusting the Dark color enhancement, vividness and color brightness on each comics I watch.
And then, there is a second dark color enhancement in the Reader settings. Plus the high contrast switch...

How about a writing feel enhanced screen protector on the Tab Mini C? I’m trying to figure out if it has a factory installed protector.

Not sure if you are aware, but rm-hacks is different than ddvk, since ddvk has not updated his stuff to rM version 3.x yet. rm-hacks is a bit different, but still relies on roughly the same modification style as ddvk. So your comment as to modification definitely still applies, but just wanted to make you aware that they are two different projects.

Thank you, and yes, I am aware of that, but as you said, they fall under the same category of modifications.

Firstly, I disagree on thing that you have to use frontlight for kaleido 3 screen. With my Tab Ultra C Pro I hardly use it, even with slightly darker conditions, and only lit up the screen when I truly need to which is not very often. But yes, you need a bit more light to be able to see colours better and for their clearer recognition. However, it is not needed. I think some role play the paper-like screen protector of Note Air 3C. So in that case, the frontlight may be needed more because it dim in some way the content on screen.
Secondly, do anyone notice dissappearing strokes on reMarkable 2? Since some last update, I don´t know which, I see that sometimes the stroke you write disappear but it is actually there. It is same problem like on SuperNote. But the difference is that it happens really rarely, like really. It happened like, I don´t know, less than five times in last months, so it isn´t a problem but maybe worry.
