There are many great players including CR7, Messi and Mpabbe, etc. But what I saw in R9 had a lasting impression on me. In terms of pure talent, I feel he is incomparable. Watch how he dribbled past Luca Marchegiani in the 98 Uefa Cup final. His wiggle of the hip is not something he practiced, it was instinctive and have you ever so smooth an elastico executed at ease. I lament we only saw the 2 best years of R9 in Europe top-flight (96 -97 with Barcelona) and (97-98 with Inter). Missed seeing him play.
